Yes, ECE students are eligible for NTPC - Executive trainee post... The common eligibility for NTPC is as follows...


-> EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : The candidate must score 65 % above in any of the course given below...

-> Electrical and Electronics/Electrical, Instrumentation and Control/Power Systems and High Voltage/Power Electronics/Power Engineering.


-> AGE LIMIT : The upper age limit is 27 years as on 01st jan 2011.

-> Upper age limit is relaxed for 2years for students doing PG course.

NTPC Graduate Engineers recruitment notice 2012 declares NTPC recruitment through GATE Exam 2012 . NTPC invites online applications from graduate engineers in disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering. :

How to Apply: The candidates who have completed their engineering and find themselves eligible for NTPC sarkari naukri are required to appear for GATE 2012. They can fill the online form for GATE 2012 at http://www.iitd.ac.in/gate.

NTPC will call the deserving candidates Interview and Group Discussions. based on their score in GATE Exam 2012,

Important Dates: Online submission of application form for Graduate Engineers with GATE-2012 registration number will be available from 06/01/2012 to 26/01/2011 at NTPC official website.

Yes my friend, ECE students are very much eligible for NTPC(National Thermal Power Plant Corporation). Not only the student of ECE there are other candidates having other department like ME, EE, AIE etc. will also get chance in the NTPC.
Actually the students who are studying with generally power electronics, thermal power plant, strength of material, thermodynamics, power grid etc. these subjects, they will be eligible for NTPC.

YES. ece students are eligible for NTPC.
this year onwards NTPC doesnt conduct its own exam. the selection process is entirely based on the marks obtained in GATE exam. so make sure that you write GATE first.
when shortlisted based on the marks you obtained in the GATe, you will have a GD and then a Personal Interview.

then you would be finally selected !!!....

qualified gate or if u are government college student like nit iit nsit or dtu u are fully qualified
