Sir, i have scored 74% marks in 12th board, but 60% in each physics, chemistry and mathematics (PCM). Can i appear in BITSAT entrance exam 2017?

BITSAT stands for Birla Institute of Technology Science Aptitude Test. This test is conducted by BIT for admission of candidates into different undergraduates disciplines of engineering in different branches of BITs.

As per marks criteria, you are not eligible for BITSAT 2017 exam.

Those candidates who have completed their 10+2 from a recognized Board are eligible for BITSAT exam 2017. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 75% in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. Candidates must be proficient in English also.

*Minimum educational qualification is 10+2 from a recognized board in science stream.

*75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 60% or more in each of these individual subjects. You have not mentioned aggregate marks scored in these subjects and if it is 75% or more, you will be eligible for BITSAT 2017.

Birla Institute of Technology & Science conducts BIT Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) every year to provide admission to UG and PG courses. There are four institutions which consider BITSAT.

Eligibility Criteria:-

-You need to pass 10+2 with minimum 75% marks from a recognized education board.
-You need to pass Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology.
-If you want to apply for B.Tech then you need to have passed 12th with Math and if you apply for B.Pharm then you need to pass Biology.
-Pass marks should be there in english.

Pattern of Examination:-

There will be total 150 MCQs on Physics, General English, Chemistry and Math/ Biology subjects. Total time allotted for the exam is three hours. It is an online test. Negative marking is there.

Interested candidates must have cleared 10+2 with minimum 75% marks from a recognised Education Board.

Candidates must have passed intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology

If you want to take admission in B.Tech then you must have passed 12th with math and if you want to take admission in B.pharm then you must have passed 12th with Biology along with good proficiency in English.
