Eligibility to apply and appear for Bank Probationary Officer exam?
I scored 77% in Higher Secondary exam (WBCHS) and 45% in graduation. Can I apply for Bank Probationary Officer entrance exam? When and how to apply for it? What is the syllabus of Bank PO exam? Which all banks are affiliated for PO?

For bank probationary officer exam conducted by IBPS you should have a degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognised university. There is relaxation of 5% marks for candidates who belong to reserved category.
Therefore, you can apply for the bank PO exam only when you belong to reserved category like SC/ST or PH, as you have 45% marks in your graduation. |

Eligibility to apply and appear for bank probationary officer exam:-
Education qualification:- The candidate should have passed graduation from a recognised University. The age limit is between 21 to 30 years of age while applying for bank PO exam. Age relaxation of 5 years is given to candidates belonging to SC / ST. The candidates belonging to OBC categories are given an Age relaxation of 3 years. The candidates holding Jammu and Kashmir quota are also given an age relaxation of 5 years. A candidate must also not hold any criminal record. Eligibility for bank probationary officer exam:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the central government. Candidate must have minimum age of 21 years and not above 30 years. Relaxation of 5 years in a parade limit is provided to SC/ST candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates. 13 years to PWD OBC candidates and 15 years to PWD SC / ST candidates. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the Probationary Officer recruitment examination.
The required minimum qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit varies with examination. The examination is conducted in various stages and you have to appear and qualify in all the stages for final selection. Eligibility to apply and appear for Bank Probationary Officer exam:-
Candidate should have to pass 10+2 with minimum 60% marks and graduation/ post graduation with minimum 55%. Candidates with reserved categories should have clear their 10+2 with minimum 55% of marks and graduation/ post graduation with 50% marks. Agr limit: For OBC candidates - Age limit relaxation of 3 years. For Sc/St candidates - Agr limit relaxation of 5 years. |

Examination is conducted by IBPS, SBI and other private banks to get recruitment as Probationary officer in the bank.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is that :- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. The age limit varies with examination. Candidates have to appear and qualify in all the stages for final selection. So, you are eligible to appear for the examination. |

Eligibility to apply and appear for Bank Probationary Officer exam;
The minimum educational qualification required to apply for Bank Probationary Officer exam is that you should be a graduate in any discipline from any recognized university/institute. There is no such requirements of percentage of graduation. You must be between 21 - 30 years of age at the time of applying for Bank Probationary Officer exam. There are 5 years and 3 years of age relaxation in upper age limit for ST/SC and OBC candidates respectively. PO stands for Probationary Officer. For the selection as PO, you have to appear and qualify in the entrance examination conducted by IBPS, SBI etc.
The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline and no limitation on minimum required aggregate to appear for the examination. So, you are eligible to appear for the examination and after qualifying in all the stages become eligible for final selection. |

Candidates with minimum passing aggregate in bachelor degree are eligible to appear for PO recruitment examination.
Candidates in the bachelor degree are eligible to appear for the examination. So, you must start the preparation for examination to qualify in the examination. After qualifying in all the stages, you will become eligible for final selection as PO in the bank. |
