Sir, I am studying Automobile Engineering in BE. I want to apply for RTO exam. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for me to apply for this exam. Kindly let me know about the eligibility criteria as soon as possible!

Eligibility to apply for RTO examination for BE automobile engineering student:

Candidate must possess mechanical engineering / automobile engineering from recognised University in order to become a RTO inspector.

Candidate must have minimum age of 18 and maximum should not exceed 35 years.

Eligibility criteria to appear in RTO exam:

RTO stands for Regional Transport officer. There are three types of posts include in this field. There are as listed below:

Judicial position

Clerical position

Sub assistant position

Judicial post, you must have completed degree in law with minimum 50% marks from recognised University.

For assistant engineer post, you must have an engineering degree.
