Hello Anupam,
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for AIEEE is +2 with Maths and Science as compulsory subjects for B.E and B.Tech. The candidate must have studied Maths and passed +2 with a minimum of 50%, if willing to pursue B.Arch or B.Planning.
The maximum age limit for the same is 25 years for general candidate and 30 years for others.

to appear in aieee exam you should have either passed your 12th or appearing in it with science stream and maths cumpulsory. the percentage required is 55% .for more information logon to website-www.cbse.nic.in

The eligibility criteria is passing in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. Those who are appearing for class 12 can also appear.

The eligibility criteria for AIEEE exam is the 50% marks in the +2 exam and you can also write the exam while you are in the +2 time and if you score 50% in the qualifying exam
then only you can get admissions based on the score in AIEEE Exam

I have passed 12th exam with 61% aggregate but I dont have 50% (150 marks) in PCM added together. I have 146 marks in PCM out of 300. Am I still eligible to appear for AIEEE??

The Eligibility for AIEEE 2011 is:

1.Qualifying Exam is Class 12th

2. For B.E./B.Tech. compulsory subjects in class 12th is Physics & Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects among Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science or Biology.

3. For B. Arch./B. Planning compulsory subject is Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.

AIEEE is the ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAM conducted for the students of science stream who are interested in doing engineering. The eligibility criteria related to this exam is mentioned here:

Education Qualification:

i)10+2 pass in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
ii)Students who are appeared in their 10+2 exam may also apply for this exam.

Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

yes , you can appear for aieee exam for 2011 , the only condition you must satisfy is the age limit and number of attempts

For admission through AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th. A candidate can only appear for AIEEE 2011 if he/she has passed/appearing class 12th in 2009, 2010 or 2011. i got 119 marks in b.arc and my marks in 10+2 are phy 50, che 52 , maths 46 , eng 55 and computer 67. am i eligible for aieee b.arc

Hey friend,

The candidates who are finished their +2 with science stream are eligible for the exam and the candidates should have secured 50 % marks with Physics and mathematics as the compulsory. Students who wants to be architects are required to pass their +2 with aggregate of 50 % marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject,Chemistry, Computer Science, Bio-Technology or Biology can be taken as optional subject.

I am confused with aggregate word, i didnt got 55 marks in maths but my over all 2 percentage is above 55%.
Is i am qualified for b.arch?

i have got 58% marks in my AISSCE under CBSE board..but my PCM marks is only 44%.so is it possiblle for me to apply for AIEEE 2012 and get through the counselling?if i again go for NIOS to increase my Senior Secondary School Examination marks,then is it possible for me to apply for AIEEE 2012?

Eligibility Criteria for AIEEE :

You must pass 12th standard or equivalent examination to sit for this AIEEE.
But you must score minimum 50% in PCM to take admission.

CBSE (CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION),conducts this exam every yaesr for taking admission in best engineering colleges called NITs.

For appear in this exam you must have to complete your12th standard with PHYSICS CHEMISTRY, MATHS with at least 50% (10% relaxations for SC\ST\PH).

one can sit only three times in this exam.
the age limit for this exam is 17-25.
