Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT Exam?
Hi Can you please let me know the last date of CBSE AIPMT? And If a candidate has already appeared 3 times but the age is only 21 years then can he/she appear for exam? The eligibility criteria is age or attempts?

The no of attempts is the important matter. 3 is the maximum number of attempts and so this student can't write the AIPMT exam again sorry |

Hello friend,
The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for AIPMT exam is +2 with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together for general candidate and 40% for others. The minimum eligible age is 17 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for others. Candidates belonging to any category can appear only for a maximum of 3 attempts. For further information, you may visit the official website of AIPMT. |

Hiiiiiiiiii friends
A candidate should be between 17-25 years of age as on December 31st, 2011. There is a relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC candidates. A candidate should have passed 12th or be appearing in 2011 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Also a candidate should have at least got 50% marks in PCB for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates. A candidate can only appear for AIPMT for a maximum of three times. Do you mean the rank till which admissions are available? As far as the trend from last year is concerned... people with rank upto 2500 have got admissions in and around the region they wanted. A lower rank till 3000-3500 may take you to places that you may not desire, like N. East - if you are not a resident of that place.

hey if your between the age group of 17-25 then you are eligible.
you should be 12th pass with 50% from science group. if your from SC/St category then you are eligible if you get 40% from science group in 12th and your relaxation age will increase to 30years. so,all the best |

The eligibility of candidates for appearing in CBSE – AIPMT is as follows: Age: The candidate must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or should complete the same on or before December 31st of the year of admission. There is no restriction in upper age limit. But the no. of attempts allowed is only 3. So, the candidate can not appear in AIPMT exam. |

Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should be atleast 17 years of age as on 1st july, 2011. Further a candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks (40% for Reserved Category) in Physics, Chemsitry and Biology. Those appearing for 10+2 examination in 2010 can also apply. A candidate should be a bonafide Resident of Madhya Pradesh. |

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIPMT:- (i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL. (ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. Candidate must born on or between * 01.01.82 to 01.01.95 (SC/ST/OBC Category) * 01.01.87 to 01.01.95 (Other Category) (iii) Students from the States of Andhra Pradesh/J&K are not eligible, as both these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. If they claim eligibility they must submit an affidavit, in original, in the Proforma on Rs 10/- Non-Judicial Stamp Paper duly sworn before and attested by a Metropolitan Magistrate/First Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that:- Medical Entrance Exam Question Bank CD a) They are not eligible to appear for MBBS/BDS seats in the States of Andhra Pradesh/J&K and hence not eligible to seek admission in Medical/ Dental Colleges of Andhra Pradesh/J&K. and b) They are not domiciled in Andhra Pradesh/ J&K. . Note : Applications not accompanied with the required affidavits or accompanied with incomplete, unattested or photocopy of the affidavit shall be summarily rejected without any further reference in the matter. The affidavits submitted by such candidates will be verified and if found to be false, the admission of all such candidates shall be cancelled and criminal proceedings may be initiated against them. Eligibility for AIPMT 2011
1. Age Limit: 17 to 25 for general category. For other categories, there is relaxation of 5 years. 2. You can make three attempts only. 3. The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are taking plus two examination in 2011 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the conditions later. RESERVATION OF SEATS: 15% seats for SC candidates, 7.5% seats for ST candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC candidates in Central Institutions only and 3% seats on horizontal basis for Physically Handicapped candidates are reserved in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS courses. The Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT 2012 is given below.
Candidates have completed 17 Years at the time of admission or will complete the age on 31st December, 2011 or before admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and Candidate is an Indian. Candidate must born on or between for AIPMT 2012 (a) For SC/ST/OBC Category: 01.01.83 to 01.01.96 (b) For Other Category: 01.01.88 to 01.01.96 Students from Andhra Pradesh/J&K are not eligible for AIPMT exam, as both these States had opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. |

Eligibility for AIPMT exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete 12th in science field having subjects like-Physics, chemistry and biology. 2.Candidate must have secure 50% aggregate in physics, chemistry and biology. For SC/ST the marks percentage relaxation is 10%.. 3.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 4.Candidates age should be in between 17-25 years. For SC/ST the age relaxation is 5 years. the eligibility criteria for AIPMT is such that:- > Educational Qualification- The candidate must have passed 10+2 (PCB) with 50% aggregate.10+2 Appearing candidates are also provisionally allow to sit in the examination. > Age Limit- The candidate must be minimum of 17 years old and maximum of 25 years old. For more details refer to official site of AIPMT- www.aipmt.nic.in Since you already appeared three times in AIPMT, you are not eligible for the next one because maximum permissible attempts is three times in a consecutive years. |

The attempts in AIPMT - All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination * Candidates should be the citizen of India. * Number of attempts in AIPMT is 3. So, try to clear it within 3 times. * Candidates should complete 12th standard from a recognized institute. * They should study physics and chemistry and biology. * Candidates should get 55% at 12th. * Candidates should complete 17 years of age. * Candidates form Andhra Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir are not eligible to write this exam.
