Eligibility criteria to become a Regional Transport Officer?


I have completed B.E Production engineering. I wish to become a regional transport officer. What is the criteria to become RTO. Am I eligible to become a RTO?

There are three types of posts under RTO, first one is clerical for which minimum qualification, second one is technical for which bachelor's degree in engineering is minimum qualification and for judicial post, minimum qualification required is bachelor's degree in law.

The eligibility criteria for Regional Transport Officer examination, technical assistant is bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline. The age limit is 18-35 years and upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. You are eligible for RTO examination after Production engineering. You must visit official website of your concerned state transport details for any more information.

Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Exam is conducted by State Public Service Commission for different posts in RTO – Clerk, Judicial and Sub Assistant

The eligibility criteria for clerk post is:-

**You should have completed your graduation from a recognized institute.

**Your age limit should be within 18 to 37 years.

The eligibility criteria for Judicial post is:-

**You should possess graduation degree in law from a recognized university

**Your age limit should lie within 23-35 years

The eligibility criteria for Sub Assistant post is:-

**You should be graduate from a recognized university in particular fields such as mechanical and civil

**You should have the age more than 34 years.

Eligibility criteria to be followed to become Regional Transport Officer:

Each state conducts RTO exam for these 3 posts:

Judicial Service Post

Clericalship Post

Sub Assistant Engineer

Eligibility for Judicial Service Post:

A candidate must have pursued 3 year LAW degree and age should be in between 23 to 34 years.

Eligibility for Clerk post:

The candidate must have done 12th standard from a recognised board and it should be in between 18 to 37 years.

Eligibility for Sub Assistant Engineer Post:

The candidate must have done Bachelors of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology from a recognised University and age should be in between 23 to 32 years.

Eligibility criteria to become a Regional Transport officer:-

RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer.

Every state conduct RTO exam.

RTO exam. is conducted for these three posts:-

Judicial Service Post

Clerkship Post

Sub Assistant Engineer


Eligibility criteria for Judicial Service post:-

Bachelor's degree in Law from a organised University.

Age should be between 23 years to 34 years.

You should know local language of your state.


Eligibility criteria for Clerkpost:-

10 + 2 from a recognised board.

Age should be between 18 years to 37 years .


Eligibility criteria for Sub Assistant Engineer:-

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical or Civil .

Age should be between 23 years to 32 years.

Yes, you can apply for Regional Transport Officer.

State Public Service Commission make recruitment for the post of Regional Transport Officer (RTO) .

The recruitment in RTO is made for three different posts namely;

*Clerk post

*Sub Assistant engineer post

*Judicial service Post

Eligibility criteria to become a Regional Transport Officer :-

RTO Clerk :

-The candidate should have passed 12th class in any discipline from a recognized central or state board.

-The age limit to apply for the post should be in between 18 years to 37 years.

RTO Sub Assistant Engineer :

- The candidate must have passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical ).

-The age limit to apply for the post is from 23 years to 32 years.

RTO Judicial service post :

- The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.

-The age limit to apply for the post should be in between 23 years to 34 years.


The Exam is conducted in the different stages :

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination.

Interview.


Written Test syllabus :

General Knowledge

General English

General State Language

General Studies

Optional Subjects (Computer Science / Mechanical Engineering)

The eligibility criteria for Regional Transport Officer:

*In case of technical post in Transport Office, minimum academic qualification required is bachelor's degree in engineering discipline.

*The age limit is 18-35 years for candidates of general category and sometimes also varies in case of other states.

RTO entrance examination is conducted by different state governments. The first stage of recruitment is written test and then interview. You can apply for this exam after bachelor's degree in production engineering.
