the general eligibility criterion for various public sector unit is-

Re: Eligibility criteria for PSU exam?
The eligibility criteria for engineering freshers in most of the PSUs as well as other MNCs is as follows:
1. 60% through out applicant's academic life i.e. 10th, 12th & BTech 2. No current backlogs. 3. Not more than 2 years of academic gap But there are some PSUs which provide exception to these eligibility requirements. That is they allow candidates with less than 60% marks in their academic life or candidates with backlogs to appear in their recruitment drive. |

Re: Eligibility criteria for PSU exam?
they consider a combination of your GPA and standardized test scores, as well as a few other factors.
The high school grade-point average (GPA) accounts for approximately two-thirds of their decision. The remaining one-third is based on other factors, which may include standardized test scores (SAT or ACT), class rank, personal statement and activities list. candidate should not have any active backlog when they appear forrecruitment process. |

Dear pal,
The public sector companies are NTPC, DRDO, ONGC, BSNL, HAL,BEL etc. The public sector unit conducted entrance exams and the vacancy is filled by them. The public sector companies recruited aspirants through off campus as well as through campus placement. But from this year the selection procedure is changed. To become eligible for the public sector units the aspirant need to write GATE exam and become eligible by clearing it. The eligibility criteria differs from company to company. All the public sector units requires bachelor degree as minimum requirement. They may require aspirants from a specific discipline. Those who have the corresponding required degree can apply for it. The aspirant will be ranked based on the gate score. They will be called for group discussion . Then the aspirant will be interviewed personnel and selected |
