Till today the date are not announced ,you should visit on upse site ,IT candidate can also give this paper .age should be not less than 21 year and not more than 30 year .their should be 3 year upper age limit for SC/ST and OBC.
you should be in 4th year .

A brief account of BSNL JTO 2011

BSNL JTO, is divided into 3 groups:-

• BSNL JTO (Telecom): Candidates having successfully completed B.E./B.Tech in any of the followings:-

Electronics
Telecommunication
Radio
Computer
Information Technology
Electrical are eligible to apply under 'Telecom' section.

• BSNL JTO (Civil): Candidates having successfully completed B.E./B.Tech in Civil engineering are eligible to apply under 'Civil' section.

• BSNL JTO (Electrical): Candidates having successfully completed B.E./B.Tech Electrical engineering are eligible to apply under 'Electrical' section.

Dates: Be ready notification are subjected to be announced soon. In both 2009 and 2010 notification were released in February, and entrance was held on May. But the whole process end till september.

about the eligibility for JTO you need to have finish your Bachelors in Engineering from any of the reputed university.JTO has telecom, civil and electrical stream so you can accordingly choose your stream which may be easy for you.the syllabus is related to your university syllabus. so referring the book from college is good enough but can also get JTO books from the market. you need to clear in your basics to get it cleared. regards!

The notification for JTO-2011 is not published but it is expected to be published in
either February or March.
The eligibility criteria is as follow:
Age Limit:
Age limit for BSNL-JTO exam is the same as in UPSC exams.
GEN: upper age limit 30 years
OBC: 3 year relaxation
SC/ST: 5 year relaxation
Educational Qualification:
A B.E./B.Tech. degree in
Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology
for Telecom section
B.E./B.Tech. degree in
Civil Engineering for JTO-Civil section.
B.E./B.Tech. degree in

Candidates who are in final year of B.E./B.Tech. are also eligible to apply
provided that they complete their graduation by December of the year.

Your age is very critical for JTO exam. During the last JTO exam there was no
any clause for minimum age but according to UPSC rules one should be minimum
21 years old for joining in these jobs.
You might be 21 years old at the time of examination So, there should not be any problem.
I would suggest you to contact the examination authority for JTO exam, once the
notification is out.

The final year candidate can also apply for this.

Age Limit :
The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years.
But SC/ST candidate there is 5 year age relaxation and for OBC there is 3 year age relaxation.

>>minimum degree in engineering qualification.

>>minimum 60% marks in degree engineering from AICTE approved institute.

>>age limit for the general candidate are 21-27 years as on date of exam.

exam date for the BSNL JTO exam 2011 may will not be held.

exam date still has not came.

so it is expected that BSNL JTO exam will be held in the next upcoming year.

required educational qualification by 31.12.2009

3.>Age: The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates.

However, this age is relaxable as per standing instructions on this subject for:-

i) Govt. servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by
the Central Govt.;3/28

ii) BSNL employees upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued
by the BSNL;

iii) For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5 years;

iv) For OBC Candidates upto 3 years;

v) For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years ; (for SC/ST 15 years and for
OBC 13 years)

vi) For certain other categories like ex-servicemen, displaced persons from East
Pakistan[now Bangladesh], repatriates from Burma and Ceylon [now
Srilanka],residents of Goa, Daman & Diu, persons migrated from Kenya, Uganda,
Republic of Tanzania as per instructions issued by the Central Government from
time to time in this regard.

(vii) For Residents of J&K – Relaxation shall be in accordance with DoP&T’s Notification
No.15012/7/1991-Estt.(D) dtd. 7.12.2007 pertaining to “Residents of State of
Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central
Civil Services & Posts) Rules 1997”.


4.> Further in respect of apprentices who have undergone apprentice training in BSNL
successfully, there will be following provision:-

(a) An apprentice will be required to compete in the common competitive
examination conducted by BSNL along with other direct candidates and
preference to the apprentices over non-apprentices direct candidates will
be given only if apprentices secures equal place in merit in select zone and
all other eligibility conditions being equal.

(b) The apprentices would not be required to get her/his name sponsored by
any employment exchange.

(c) The apprentices would be entitled to age relaxation to the extent of the
period for which the apprentice had undergone training as apprentice in the
BSNL.

JTO( junior telecom officer) exam will be conducted by BSNL

* note: the JTO exam will not be conducted every year.
* it is last conducted in 2010...so it is well expected to be conducted in 2012
