top colleges like delhi university ..may ask you for high cutoff percentage in 12th exams... usually 85% and more.

Private colleges dont need much requirement....you only need to pay them the fees and need to pass your 12th with 50% or more marks.

for government collegs in state areas.. you may need 60% or more...and sometimes might be supposed to give an entrance test or interview...thaths it.... getting admission into bsc.it is not a big deal..

Yes you are eligible to take admission which of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline...
Just you need to be 12th pass and even some colleges may keep percentage criteria..
that too its depend upon colleges to colleges..

But if you are planning to do MCA and then either you need to have Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or should have passed the Bachelor's Degree with a subject of MATHS but maths should be there either in graduation level or +2 level....
so for MCA maths is compulsory..so if you donot had it in +2 level but it must be in your graduation level..

Hi friend, my advice for you is to go for b.tech mechanical or automobile as you have done diploma in engineering. You can get direct admission in 2nd yr for b.tech Mechanical or Automobile. These two course have high demand in corporate sector.
If your interest is in computer field then go for it......You are eligible for Bsc.IT

Well if you want a great career in future, then you must got for B.Tech in core sectors.... There are many programs in B.tech which are popular now a days. Some of them are like petroleum engineering, automotive design, aerospace engineering, mechatronics etc. As these programs are from core sector, they are in good demand in the job market and you can easily get a decent job in any multinational organisation with a good package. Though not many universities are not famous for these programs, one which is famous for these programs is UPES,Dehradun. Its programs and faculty are famous in pan Asia region too. So, look for other options too and then take a decision...

The eligibility criteria for the Bsc It is as under-

1. You must be a 12th pass with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.

2. Your age must be above 18 years.

3. Mathematics is a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

4. As it is a degree course so the time of completion of the course is of 3 years & to leave it in between will not provide you the bachelor's degree.
