Is I am applicable for Indian Forest Services (IFOS) with Agriculture Business Management (ABM) degree with me?

Applicants should be graduate with one of the following subjects namely chemistry ,botany, animal husbandry and veterinary science, zoology, Mathematics, Physics zoology and Statistics to become eligible for UPSC IFS examination.

The minimum age is 21 years and maximum is 32 years as on 1st August of the year of examination.

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for Indian Forest Services (IFOS) conducted by Union Public Service Commission is given below,

Indian forest services ( IFS) Civil service examination conducted by UPSC once a year.
Education qualification:- Bachelor's degree in at least one of these, veterinary, animal husbandry, chemistry, physics, botany, mathematics, statistics, zoology, geology, agriculture and forestry.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Age limit:- 21 years to 32 years.

Eligibility for Indian Forest Services examination:-

You should complete your graduation from any of the below subjects from a recognised University. Namely maths, physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, agriculture, forestry and statistics etc.

The age should be in between 21 to 30 years and age relaxation is there as per government rules.

The selection procedure will be based on the Prelims and Mains examination and to apply for the Indian Forest Service you should go to the official website of UPSC and there you can fill the required details with your photograph and signature.

Indian Forest Service examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year and eligibility required to appear in IFS examination is maintained below:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

Educational qualification:-
Candidate must hold a Bachelors Degree with at least one of the subjects namely animal husbandry and veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics and zoology.

Or a candidate must hold a bachelor's degree in agriculture, forestry or in engineering from a recognised University/ Institute.

Age limit:-
The minimum age of the candidate is 21 years of age and maximum age of the candidate is 30 years of age.

Candidate must be citizen of India.

The maximum number of attempts for appearing the IFS examination is a six times.

Candidate must be physically fit according to the physical standards of the IFS examination.

Eligibility:-

1- Aspirants must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to Indian Forest Service Examination.

2- Age of a candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum of 32 years on 1st August, 2021 of the year of examination, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1989 and not later than 1st August, 2000.

3- Candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognised university or equivalent.

Eligibility criteria required to apply are as follows:-
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology from a recognized university.
Or,
Candidate must be a holder of Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from a recognized university.
Candidate age should be at least 21 years and not more than 32 years.
