Hello Sir, I have completed my 12th with Science stream. I had Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in my 12th. Now, I want to take BA course in English and Psychology. My aim is to join Indian Navy. I would like to know that with such Degree I will be eligible to join Indian Navy?

Candidates passed 12th in PCM are eligible to appear for NDA examination.

The examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. The eligibility to appear in the examination is conducted in two stages :-

Written.

SSB.

You have to appear and qualify in both stages for final selection. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Candidates after 12th in PCM are eligible to join Indian Navy through NDA while after B.Tech eligible to get entry throgh CDS.

Both the examination is conducted by UPSC. But, you will not become eligible to appear for recruitment in Indian Navy after B.A course.

You are eligible to appear for NDA examination as per the educational qualification. For detail information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Candidates required to have bachelor in technology or bachelor in engineering to get recruitment in the Indian Navy after qualifying in the examination.

But, candidates passed 12th in PCM are eligible to appear for NDA examination and after qualifying in the examination are eligible for final selection.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear for the examination.
