Can you tell me about the eligibility for the MBBS course at AIIMS Delhi for 2016. I am now in first year of bhms course and not interested in this course. Can I apply for the entrance test of AIIMS for MBBS course? Is there any interview after selection in AIIMS ?

Eligibility for MBBS in AIMMS :

<> You should complete 10+2 from the recognized university with minimum percentage of mars.

-- Gen and OBC --> Should have minimum 60% in 10+2.

-- SC/ST ---> 50% of marks needed.

--> Age should not below 17 years. There is a separate eligibility for other nationals.

--> They should be nominated by " Government of India ".

AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Sciences entrance exam which is held for the candidates those who are interested to do MBBS (medical) Line.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Candidates must be of age 17 years at the time of admission The Upper age limit is 25 years & There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates.

First you should know about its acronym. Acronym of MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of surgery and AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science.
It also follows the same procedure for getting admitted in this in any of the branches of AIIMS. For this first you have to write entrance exams conducted by AIIMS every year and after qualifying in this you will be eligible for this. Here is no procedure of any interview.
