Re: Eligibility for studying correspondence in BSc computers
Dear friend,
For studying B.Sc in computer science one should pass 10(+2) with PCM from a recognized board/university. There are a number of good Govt and private institutes offering this course. Well to study nanotechnology, one has to start from the post graduate level. Because at the graduation level no college offers course in nanotechnology. The eligibility criteria for doing Post Graduation in Nanotechnology is Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Sciences. After completing graduation only one can apply for M.Sc/M.Tech in nanotechnology. These are the institutes in andhra pradesh offering Master's in nanotechnology: Andhra University College of Engineering - Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur, Sri Satyasai University, Puttaparti. All the best! |

Re: Eligibility for studying correspondence in BSc computers
Both courses require a 10+2 passed applicant . Percentage varies from institute to institute. Generally 55% is sufficient for these courses.

Re: Eligibility for studying correspondence in BSc computers
You have clubbed two quite different questions together - Computer Science and Nanotechnology are poles apart; moreover, while Computer Science is offered at the undergraduate level, Indian University offer courses in Nanotechnology only at the post-graduation level.
Generally speaking, eligibility for doing B.Sc (Computer Science) through correspondence is 10+2 - while some institutes take students from science stream, some allow students of all streams and some other even admit even 11+1 PUC candidates. So, you will need to check with the institutes. (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/searchq=cache:LsM6hy6mq8oJ:www.indiaedu.com/distance-learning/india/courses/degree-courses/bsc.html+eligibility+for+B.Sc+(Computer+Science)+t hrough+correspondence&cd=3&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=in might be of help). Now, coming to Nanotechnology, it is essentially an inter-disciplinary subject and graduates in Physics, Chemistry and Life SCiences can only opt for M.Sc/M.Tech in nanotechnology. Master Degree programs in Nanotechnology are offered by the following Andhra Pradesh Universities: Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, Osmania University, Hyderabad, and Sri Satyasai University, Puttaparti. |

Re: Eligibility for studying correspondence in BSc computers
dear friend,
Minimum eligibility to study B.Sc in computers is to pass the 10(+2) board exam with at least 50% marks from any recognized university. Career in Nanotechnology can be started after graduation with biological science in graduation and in 12th. There are no college that provide undergraduate courses in nanotechnology. You can do M.Sc/M.Tech in this subject. The colleges mentioned below offer Master's degree course in nanotechnology: Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur, Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh. Good luck... |

Quote:
Correspondence courses are made for those people who are unable to go to classes for some reason. Mostly people who work full time choose part time/correspondence courses. So If you are not in such a situation then you must join a full time regular course. The correspondence course should be done at least after graduation or as later as possible. The list of distance learning colleges can be accessed at the following website. http://www.indiaedu.com/distance-lea...rses/bcom.html |

Re: Eligibility for studying correspondence in BSc computers
to study Bsc in computer you have to pass 10+2 with the subject mathematics and computer(varies from institution to institution but math is must).
to study on nanotechnology you have to graduate first with science. you must have physics, chemistry and mathematics in 10+2 level to study on nanotechnology. after graduation you may study master degree on nanotechnology. there is no paper on nanotechnology in graduation. all the best. |
