i am in 7th semester now and i have got gpa of above 6.00 in all my semesters and cgpa (aggregate) is about 6.36. also i got 73.8% in 10th and 62.2% in 12th,but the problem is dat i hv 2 live backlogs and 2 years academic gap after 12th. so will you please tell me clrearly about backlogs and am i eligible for TCS placement.

i hav 84 % in tenth 56 % in 12th n 6.5 cgpa/..n a backlog..m i eligible fr placements?

i have 4 current back with 6.0 cgpa. m i eligible for placement?

i have aggregate of 88% in sslc ,71% in puc and 59.65% in BE .....am i eligible for placement ?

dont worry TCS allow for two backlogs at the time of applying but you should pass all the backlogs at the time of joining there should be no any back pending while joining
otherwise there is no problem with backs

The criteria is given below:-

1)Candidate must be score at least 60% in through out career.
2)Pending Backlog are not allowed.
3)Maximum 2 year gap are allowed.

The Selection process for TCS:-

1)Aptitude Test.
2)Technical Test
3)Personal Interview.

You have pending backlog so you are not eligible for TCS .

After completion of your Backlog you are eligible for TCS.

The eligibility criteria to appear in the recruitment process of TCS is mentioned below:-
1. 60% in class 10 and 12
2. 60% in Graduation
3. No running backlogs
4. Year gap-not more than 2years.
--It seems that you don't have 60% in Graduation and you also have 2 running backlogs.
Therefore you are not eligible for TCS.
Try some other CMM level3 companies.

because of your backlogs and gaping , you are not eligible for tcs.

because of your percentage in BE --->not matches with the criteria of top mnc company, so you are not eligible top companies

i had a backlog in my final semester which i completed immediately within 2 months in the instant exam conducted..now i dont hav any backlogs..my doubt is as per rules i did not complete my degree within stipulated time i think...am i eligible for tcs?

Every year, TCS comes with some new criteria or the other.

A minimum requirement is that there should not be any back logs, so make sure you clear you backs, and a your aggregate should be more than 60% in your B Tech.

Rest you have to sit for the Aptitude test, and appear for a personal and technical interview.

I'm so afraid to tell you that you are not eligible for TCS.
You have decent marks in your graduation but TCS will not allow active backlogs while campus recruitment.

TCS eligibility criteria :

>>Educational qualification :
You should have minimum 60% marks throughout your academic career.

>>Backlog criteria :
There should not be any pending backlogs

>>Study gap :
They will allow maximum 2 years of study gap.

Sir i m nt clearify the criteria of tcs or any mnc due to my 12th % whch is 59...
So please tel me the name of some without criteria companies...

eligiblity of TCS::

for TCS you should start practicing aptitude questions( verbal and non-verbal) from now only.

Tcs requires 60% in degree so your overall degree marks should be more than 60%.
you should improve your communication skills also

i have backlogs in two subjects in my 1st semester......if i clear my backlog within 3rd semester..am i eligible for getting a job in tcs???

got 84% in 10th then 76% in 12th..... my cgpa is 7.04.... but my query is whether in all semester v should score above 6 for getting placed in tcs?????????in one sem got 5.7gpa.... whether i'm eligible...

Yes you are eligible for TCS placement, As they just want your CGPA above 6.
There wont be any problem if you you have gpa less than 6 in one semester.so, don't worry,prepare well for your placement.

For the placement in infosys. the Eligiblity Criteria:
>> No pending backlogs.
>> minimum 60% in overall degree

As you have 2 back in 5th semester so you are not allowed to sit for job,better first you clear your back with good marks and then apply in infosys.
