Re: Which engineering is the best for me after completing 12th from non medical stream?
Since you have completed 12th and you want to join best engineering college I would like to suggest you to get into one of the IIT's. IIT's (Indian Institute of Technology) are the best colleges for engineering in India.
To get admission into IIT's you need to get through the IIT JEE examination which is taken by IIT's every year. About 4-5 lakh students apply for the examination to test their fate. But there are only limited number of seats i.e., about 13000. So you need to prepare very hard for to get admission into IIT's. Also you must have at least 60% aggregate marks in your 12th board examination to get into IIT's. Now coming to the best engineering disciples you can opt for any one of the for core branches Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication. These are evergreen branches. Now a days Computer Science is on the boom so you can also opt for that branch also. Now a days a trend of taking electrical engineering among the IIT JEE toppers is also there and the fact is that it is a very good branch. So you can also opt for that. |

friend selecting a branch depends upon ur interest as well as career prospects. as such if u are good at physics and maths espicially mechanics then took mech. engg. because it's an all weather subject and its demand in the job market never decreases. similarly for elect. and civil engg. though if u want to join IT sector then do cse or it.

Dear friend
Any branch like cse,it,mechanical, civil, ice, ece, bio tech,Marin engg any thing you can choose .you have to think which you like most .If your favorite subject was mechanical then take mechanical branch.if you like computer branch take cse. just think about it and choose your branch .Any branch would be good for you if you really like it. Although cse,it like subjects are assume to be the easiest subject. But give your preference to you interest. |

Every engineering branch has its merits & de-merits be it computer science or textile engineering.
Description about various engineering branches: Click Here Selection of Branch: Students now a days giving more importance to computer science , IT, electronics branches, undermining their personal interest, consequently end up with lot of frustration & little knowledge about that subject. For instance, a Btech(IT) students even after completing course has a little know about computer languages. So, i would advice you to choose according your choice. |
