Myself Shruti and I am in 12th standard. I just really want to become an Air Hostess from the bottom of my heart. My height is good and weight is suitable to my height. But I have vision problem so please guide me will I be able to become Air Hostess or not? Which exams do I need to take for it? And, what courses would I have to complete?

There is no need of any course to become Air Hostess that have to be done before applying to this job. Basic requirements to become Cabin Crew :

- One must have passed senior secondary in any stream from a recognised board.

- One must have attained age of 18 years but not more than 25 years.

- One must have height not less than 157.5 cm.

- One must have weight according to the height but not less than 50kg

- One must have a perfect vision without spectacles and free from any defect.

- One must have a well groomed personality with fluency in both languages Hindi and English.

- You must consult an eye specialist for the vision problem as it may pose a problem in your selection.

- You have to visit the website of airlines regularly for any recruitment drives of Airlines like Indigo, Spice Jet, Jet Airways etc.

- There are a few institutes which provide courses for cabin crew, for example Frankfinn but it is not a compulsion to attend these courses, It would be better if you work on your personality development rather than wasting time and money on institutes.
