ENTRANCE EXAM NEEDED FOR TAMILNADU ENGINEERING COLLEGES

No, there is no need of giving entrance exam to join in Tamilnadu engineering colleges.

-> It was 5 years before where students have to write a entrance exam to get inside the engineering colleges where the cut-off was out of 300, where 100 for maths, 100 for physics and chemistry and 100 for entrance exam.

-> Now the cut-off as changed to 200, where 100 for maths and 100 for physics and chemistry. So no entrance exam is included.

-> So you just have to apply for the counselling by filling the form in any of the anna university college and wait for the date for counselling and select the college depending upon your wish which is available for your cut-off.

-> But however some of the private engineering college's do conduct some entrance exam for their own need. So it depends if you join in private colleges.

-> To joing IIT and other top institutes you do have to write entrance exam like IIT - JEE, AIEEE etc.

-> So try to get more marks in your 12th grade which decided your future engineering college..

Yes,it is Necessary to appear in the Entrance test,if you want to take Admission in Tamil Nadu Engineering Colleges.

There are two types of Exam.
These are:-
>>TNEA(Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) :- For Taking Admission in B.TECH/B.E.
[You will also Eligible to take Admission in B.TECH/B.E through JEE Exam].
>>TANCET:-For Taking Admission in MCA/MBA/M.TECH/M.E etc.

Eligibility for TNEA:-
>>You must be passed out in 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics.
>>Your minimum Marks should be 60%.

Syllabus for this Exam:-

>>Physics.
>>Chemistry.
>>Mathematics.
[All questions will be objective type with 4 options & questions will be from 10+2 level]

Eligibility for TANCET:-
>>You must be passed out in Graduation in any stream.
>>Your minimum marks in Graduation should be 50%.
>>Your age should not be above 25 years.

Syllabus for this Exam:-

>>Reasoning.
>>English Grammar.
>>General Knowledge.
>>Numerical Ability.
[All questions will be objective type with 4 options]

This year any rule is anounced for engineerings. Is entrance is compulsary for join engineering college in Tamil Nadu
