Hi Sir/Madam, I would like to know about the entrance exams through which I can study BHMS course anywhere in Karnataka. Can you please help me to know about the entrance exam so that I can prepare for it?

# BHMS stands for Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery.

# Please note that as per notification on official website of Karnataka Conmon Entrance Test ( CET), admission to all undergraduate medical degrees (except MBBS and BDS) such as Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Naturopathy will be conducted through NEET from 2018 onwards.


# Now you are advised to get prepared for appearing in NEET 2019 in order to get admitted in BHMS undergraduate degree course.


# Saliant features of NEET 2019 is under:

* Aspirant must have taken the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+2 or equivalent.

* Aspirants of unreserved category must have obtained minimum 50% marks in aggregate. While required minimum marks set for reserved categories is 40% in aggregate.

* Aspirants must have completed the age of 17 years on December 31, 2019.

* It is also required that aspirant of unreserved category must not exceed the age of 25. While candidates of reserved categories must not exceed the age of 30 on that year.

* Currently there is no any cap or restriction on permissible number of attempts.



# After completion of degree in BHMS, one has following job profile options:

* Medical Officer
* Teacher/Lecturer/Professor
* Private Practitioner
* Resreacher
* Public Health Specialist
* Consultant
