Which exam can I write for jobs in Bank after B.Com?
I have completed my B.Com recently and now want to work in private sector banks like ICICI or public sector banks like SBI. So, which course should I study now? Or, is there any exam which I can write for jobs in Banking sector?

You can get job in banks after qualifying in the examination conducted by SBI or IBPS.
Candidates with bachelor degree are eligible to appear for Clerk, PO etc. recruitment examination. The age limit varies with examination. For syllabus and other detail about the examination visit at www.ibps.in or www.sbi.co.in. |

Being a B.Com degree holder, you are eligible to apply for banking jobs such as back clerk or bank PO posts across various nationalized banks of India as per your educational qualification.
Further, for getting the mentioned jobs, you are required to qualify bank examinations held by IBPS or SBI or concerned bankd in case of private banks. To get job in the banking sector you have to appear and qualify examination conducted by IBPS and SBI.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline. Examination is conducted in various stages, so you have to appear and qualify in all stages of the examination for final selection. You can write the examination conducted for recruitment as Clerk or as Probationary officer.
The examination is conducted by IBPS and SBI for selection in PSB. Examination is conducted by private bank for the selection in respective bank. The required minimum eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit varies with examination. Bachelor of Commerce candidates are eligible for banking entrance exams for jobs. IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. IBPS conducts Common Written Exam for Clerk and Probationary officer.
The eligibility criteria for IBPS CWE is that candidates must be graduate from a recognized university. The age criteria is 20-30 years for Probationary officer and that for Clerk is 20-28 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. |

For Public Sector Banks, you can apply for IBPS CWE.
The acronym IBPS CWE stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written Examination. Academic qualification: Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. Age criteria: 20-28 years for Clerk and 20-30 years for Probationary officer. You can write this exam. |
