I have completed my B.Com recently and now want to work in private sector banks like ICICI or public sector banks like SBI. So, which course should I study now? Or, is there any exam which I can write for jobs in Banking sector?

You can get job in banks after qualifying in the examination conducted by SBI or IBPS.

Candidates with bachelor degree are eligible to appear for Clerk, PO etc. recruitment examination.

Bachelor of Commerce candidates are eligible for banking entrance exams for jobs. IBPS stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection. IBPS conducts Common Written Exam for Clerk and Probationary officer.

The eligibility criteria for IBPS CWE is that candidates must be graduate from a recognized university. The age criteria is 20-30 years for Probationary officer and that for Clerk is 20-28 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category.

The acronym IBPS CWE stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written Examination.
