Definately you can join as an IPS officer through the UPSc exem.The eligibillity critaria is graduate and the age limit is maximum 30 for general caste...

To become an IPS officer You Should give the exam UPSC civil service exam.
Qualification - you should be graduate . Age- between 21 to 30. Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years and for OBC 3 Years. Hello friend,
To join Indian Police Service-IPS, you will have to write Civil Service Examination conducted by union public service commission-UPSC. Being a graduate, you are eligible for the exam provided you are within the age limit of 21-30 years. The maximum age limit relaxed upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC category and 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category. The Selection process comprises of written examination, interview and physical test. The written exam is divided into two stages: Civil service aptitude test and Main exam. Civil service aptitude test comprises of two compulsory papers and the Main exam comprise of both compulsory and optional papers. IF U WANT TO BE AN IPS U HAVE TO BE APPER IN IAS EXAMS WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC,UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISION, NOTICIFICATIONS CAN BE SEEN IN THE WEBSITE:
www.upsc.gov.in u have to fill up in IAS form u are appering for IPS. IF UR RANK WILL GOOD U CAN GET IPS POST |

hi,
you complete your BCA then you want to apply for IPS exam..you need to apply UPSC CIVIL SERVICE EXAM criteria is :- age-21 to 30 years (relaxation for sc/st/ph 5 years) general candidate apply 4 times for sit exam.. BEST OF LUCK... |

first of all congratulations on the completion of your graduation............ dear for becoming an IPS officer you have to appear in the exam conducted by UPSC....... first you have to give the preliminary exam and if you qualify that then you have to give the mains............ dear for further info you may log on the website: upsc.gov.in best of luck |
