Hi, which entrance exam do I need to write for District Collector? What is the syllabus and exam pattern of that entrance? When and how to apply for that entrance? Could you also share previous 5 years solved papers for the same.

Civil Service Examination is conducted by UPSC. Candidates after qualifying in the examination become eligible for selection as an I.A.S Officer or as District Collector.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

The examination is conducted in three stages. Candidates have to appear and qualify in each stages for final selection.
