Hello Sir, I have completed Diploma Mechanical Engineering in Surat city after 10th. Now days external degree is valid or not in future? What is procedure take the admission in external valid colleges for doing B.Tech? Which is colleges is valuable to do B.Tech as an external degree?

1. Bachelor of Technology done in correspondence or part time mode offered by any university is invalid as per All India Council for Technical Education.

2. You must not enroll for external B.Tech course as it will be of no use for academic or job purpose in coming future.

Diploma candidates must apply for LEET exam for admission in 2nd year of Bachelor of Technology course. LEET stands for Lateral Entry Entrance test. You must have minimum of 60% marks in diploma.

External B.Tech is not valid course.

AICTE does not approve distance or part time Bachelor of Technology from any university.

Diploma candidate must pursue B.Tech course in regular mode.

You can also apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test if you have minimum 60% marks in diploma.
