Between fashion designing and Textile designing it is difficult to choose as
both are good but textile designing is better than fashion .textile gives you offer to
to work with good companies but fashion designing you can use in daily life also. IF you want to be professional than chose textile.

Fashion Designing :::

As we all knows that people are becoming more and more conscious about their clothing and looks due to which the scope is increasing continuously and more and more opportunities are availed in the fashion market ..

Job placements are also very good if you do this course from a good colleges or you can join a fashion designer or designing house and begin with doing the menial work ...

the places to hang out with are National institute of fashion tachnology (NIFT) for which you need to pass the entrance test conducted every year ...

Textile designing :::

India , as we know , is names for it textiles and fibers and will be knowned so ..

Specially india has great scope for textile designing which includes designing of sheets , carpet , and many more things which are for the daily use ..

as well as to have work according to market demand which need to be researched in the market ...

for this course , you need to have certain skills such as ::

-Critical analysis and interpretation of materials

-Technical knowledge

-Research and data handling capacity

-Creativity

You must differentiate the two by looking at what you are interested since both industries are well established and has great scope all over the globe ..

I feel you are yet to get to the crux of the matter...Fashion Designing and
Textile Designing are two diverse fields. Fashion Designing is all about creating designs for garments and clothing; whereas Textile Designing has to do with creating the cloth-material for garments, bedding, tapestry, etc.

Speaking of scope, both the fields have immense scope. Indian Textile Industry
has always played a major role in the world market; of late, the Indian Fashion
Industry too is making waves around the world.

So, it is entirely your aptitude/choice/interest/knack that matters. You will
have to see through it and take the decision.

both cources hav importance in theie places.....so dont think what cource i should choose,,,,, u should giv ur best in any cource u will choose,,,,

hii friend both the fashion and textile industries are developed in india... both the fashion and textile has better scope than other field ....fashion designing is a stylish job its all need of the creative thinking and imagination....and textile is all of material od\f clothes............so i can tell both have good scope .... if you are creative thinker you can go for fashion tachnology.... if you want to do fashion technology got for nift......national institute of fashion tachnology...

plz suggest me , i am textile design in nift which is good to opt for apparel or home furnishing which is better , and if i took home furnishing afterwards in PG course i be able to take apparel, ya one more think PG course is necessary after btec in textile design from nift, and which is good PG in nid or nift

Dear friend
These days real estate business is growing very much. So the job opportunities in home furnishing is very good. Also, you can easily start your own designing firm.
In other side specialization in apparel is also a good choice but you will face more competition in it.
So, Home furnishing would be better choice for PG.

Both fashion designing and textile designing is related to the designing field and have wide requirements in the industry as per their requirements. You can choose any of the field as per your choice and preference. hey i'v heard dat fashion designing involves only construction work whereas in textile, apart 4m fabric designing,it involves construction as well. moreover there are more earning opportunities in TD as compared 2 fd as in FD d cmpetetion is high!!..so wat wud u say about dat!..which is btr among d 2 in career n earning prospects?
