english is the main language in softwares no another language preffer

yes off course,by knowing a foreign language it will surely help you out in your job.

As it is not necessary but can help when you visit to another country from your company side it may help you lot but in software programming it is not may be in other fields of software profession...

NO only normal english enough for entering on to sotware field.strong in programming and aps will give good placement.

english is the one only language ..if you know well . you can around the world other than that french, japanese are also have it

if you know english very well then this is sufficient for you to do software job. because in corporate world only english is sufficient for communication.

but to work in india you should obviously know the hindi language. because so many people in india speaks in hindi.

now after that if you want to learn any other foreign language then it will depend where you want to do work later. if you want to go to china then learn china language. but if you want to go to indonesia then learn indo languages. in which country you want to go try to learn the language of that country. in the work field may not be your language will not helpful. but to stay there you should communicate with the people of that country for your needs. if you know the language of the country then it is a surely positive point for you. so you may learn a foreign language according to your need.

Fluency in english is mandatory for a software professional !
then if you want to go abroad means that regional language should be known!!

English is the basic language that you need to get selected in software companies.

But if you plan to go anywhere else abroad then you can even have a optional language which will add to your benefit to communicate with those nationals.

most of the software company selects candidates based on the english fluency only.
so English with fluency is needed for the software companies.

if youy have good communication skill in english thats enough

Go for Spanish .

germany/spain/russia or japan not know english and not speak english

Dear Aspirant,

Yes thats true when you are working in the NON English Spoken countries.


Example: Germany, Spain , France and China.

So these are the countries which don't like the english so they prefer their own language.

Such as German,Spanish,French and Chinese.These are the areas where you can find only a hand full of people who can communicate with you in the english.

Since from the child hood only the english is not taken as the first language.So my suggestion is for you.If you are going for these above countries.Am sure you should have some minimum language skills so that you can survive in that country.

Well i assume that u must be knowing English language

and there is no way that a software engineer can survive without English , well apart from that you need not know many foreign languages as they won't help you much but may be if are so passionate in learning a new language then i would suggest to learn French Language as it is the best option because you can manage with French in most parts of west Europe and this
language (french) is widely spoken in Canada too....

As far as Foreign language which will help the software engineers is concern I would like to tell you one thing that when you are working in the Non English Spoken countries like japan,China, France,Germany and Spain where people don't like to speak english so they prefer to speak in there own language,These are the areas where you can find only some people who can communicate with you in the english,If you are going for these above countries.Am sure you should have some minimum language skills so that you can survive in that country

now a days German seems to be one of the importent language for software professionals.
as all the software professionals who are called software tycoon generally belongs to french.
so it will be better for you to have approach on french and as you know that english is the universal one.
so,just go ahead for french and keep your english as strong as your regional language.

English is necessary , along with that nowadays French is the major language among software engineers.
French is used as a language of many artificial intelligence, data analysis etc.
Further more, In India Canada is a good opportunity for software engineering. Mother tongue of Canada is French.
