Selection based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personal Interview

Preliminary – Part-I(100 marks)
Subjects – General Intelligence

Preliminary – Part-II(100 marks)
Subjects – General Awareness

SSC has changed its pattern for SSC Graduate level examination in 2010. Initially there used to be a a subjective papers in main exam but in new pattern the subjective question from main examination of SSC Graduate level has been removed. Only objective questions will be asked in main examination.

SSC conducts Graduate level combined exam for 16 posts .Staff Selection Commission will conduct Graduate Level Combined Exam for following posts::

Assistant Central Excise
Income Tax Inspector
Preventive Officer
Sub Inspector of CBI
Division Accountant
Auditor
Upper Divisional Clerk (UDC)
Inspector (Examinor)
Assistant Inforcement Officer
Section Officer (Audit)
Accountant
Tax Assistant
Sub Inspector in Central Police Organisation (CPO)
Section Officer ( Commercial Audit)
Statistics Investigator Grade II and III
Compiler

The examination is done in two phases ::

Preliminary
Main

The preliminary exam is common for all above posts. It is of 200 marks and question will be asked on ::
General Intelligence and Reasoning.
General Awareness
Numerical Aptitude
English Language

Only those students who will clear the preliminary exam will get qualified for the main exam. Only objective questions will be asked in 2nd tire exam and three different papers on ::

Mathematics Abilities.
English Language.
Economics, Statistics and Commerce.

Each question paper will be for 2 hrs.
