I want to appear for GATE 2011 so what is procedure for that?and what is last date for submiting that form?Can u send me last few years question papers?

form fill up for GATE 2011 is already started from 21st september. the last date of online form fill up and collecting offline form is 27th october. the last date of submission of online and offline both is 2nd november.

if you want to appear in GATE 2011 now you have to first fill up the form. there is two way to fill up the form. online and offline. you will get all the details about the form fill up from the site www.iitm.ac.in also you will be able to online form fill up from this site. the name of the bank branch from which you will get the offline form also given in this site. also you may collect offline form from any IIT GATE zonal office.

to get previous year question paper of GATE visit the website www.enterx.co.in.

apply Gate by filling application and sending to right address.

you can apply either online or offline .....

The process to apply for the examination has already started
To apply offline you can get applications from banks or zonal GATE office conters.
Last date to get applications from Bank Counters is 27,october,2010,from zonal office counters is 29,october,2010.

for applying online
Last date for Submitting Online Application Form (website closure) is 27,october,2010.

After applying either online or offline the applications should reach the Zonal Gate Office by 2,november,2010

Dear Friend,

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination which is conducted by eight zones such that One Indian Institute of Science(IISc),Bangalore and the Seven IITs(Bombay,Kharagpur,Kanpur,Guahati,Roorkee,Madra s,Delhi)

In this year 2011,the GATE 2011 is organized by Indian Institute of Technology,Madras
According to the Eligibility of the GATE:

You should have
1:a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Architecture or Pharmacy after 10+2.

2:a Master degree holders in any branch of Science like Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Applications etc....

or
3:You can also apply if you are in the final or pre-final year examination of the Master Degree.

In GATE-2011 you can apply in two ways

1:Online Application Process:for this you have to register yourself by entering your name, date of birth, password and email id.

After filling up the online application form you can proceed for the payment of application fee through the Payment Gateway (through the Credit or Debit cards or Netbanking through of HDFC or ICICI Bank)or Challan Payment options to SBI bank as well as Indian Bank.

after completing all the process, a pdf file will be generated with:
Page-1: Instructions to the candidates
Page-2: GATE 2011 Application Form - GATE Copy
Page-3: GATE 2011 Application Form - Candidate Copy
Page-4: Address Slip

All the application form will be cost Rs.800/- +all service charge Rs.30/-
Total Cost:-Rs. 830/-.

In offline you also can get the application form will be got form the bank with Rs.1000/-
+ another service charge Rs.30/-,
Total:Rs.1,030/-

Yes, you are eligible for it.
The last date for issue of form is 27 october at bank counter
and 29 october at GATE office counter.
Last date for online submission is 27 october.

there are no such limitation is given in the information brochure of GATE. i think there are no such type of criterion. you may appear in GATE for so many time.

but there is age limit of what you will do with your GATE score. but now i think you may appear in GATE without any hesitation.
