i havn't received my hall ticket..... i am appled for gate in online..my application status was k.....

i think either there must be some problem with your application form or may be your application didnt reached the concern address.so check for both the situations. you can check for the application status for GATE exam on its official site. and you can contact the post office regarding the delivery of the application.

call to the GATE office immediately..... contact the zone in which u belong to... Or atleast write a letter... Bt it ll give u late response..Its better to make a call

if you dont get then visit the official website of gate exam and contact the head office immediately.

you must contact the chairman of the branch where you have sent the application form.
you can also check the official website of the concerned zone.

if you dont get tha hall ticket of gate examinations then immediately contact to the gate headoffice soon. if you have fill the form correctly, then you will get it soon, because it will take some time because manny students have fill this form. so dont worry.

so you can not do any think,
but in this case should had to contact with the gate exam authority.

so it will be better,
to think about the other exam,or wait for the next gate exam.

I have applied for Gate 2011 exams and provided the hard documents to Chaiman Gate, IIT Bombay. I have not received the hall ticket yet.

* Always read the subjects by posing questions "what", "how" and "why".
* Always stress to analyse the things by working out in a paper.
* Follow standard text books, read the concepts, understand them, think about how they would be useful and can be applied practically.
* read two different subjects in parallel so that you wont feel bored.
* don worry about your previous percentages in university exams too.. they are entirely different ball games altogether.
* if you have good basics, understanding and application then you will definitely succeed in gate exams..

Ans:

** Yes, GATE marks are useful in getting a good job but for Govt. jobs only, that too qualifying in GATE is enough, marks and rank you got in GATE is not important

** From the last couple of years some of Govt. Sector jobs like BHEL included GATE qualification to Eligibility criteria

** So GATE is qualifying students only can appear for those exams

** To short list the good students(good in Subject) these companies included GATE to eligibility criteria

** For now still, many of Govt. sector jobs also not included GATE to eligibility criteria, but in one or two years they will include GATE to eligibility criteria

** Coming to private sector jobs, here GATE marks or qualification is not important and they will not even consider GATE marks

** Private Companies will simply conduct their own written test and follows their own selection process

** So for now there is not much important to GATE score in getting a job, but it is useful to write some Govt. Sector jobs
