I don't think so that GNIIT is equal to BE, GNIIT is a three year degree course and after completing course they provide job which not so secure and one can never expect a successful career in this. BE is a better option than this.
And 10th passouts are not eligible for GNIIT. You can join BE after completing your diploma also. |

The GNIIT course though excellent for those interested in the programming field is not equivalent to B.E course. You can pursue the GNIIT course along with higher studies. It is must to have the qualification as per company requirement.

You can do GNIIT after 12th standard. And if you talk about that both are equivalent then i would say NO, both have their own status and In engineering you study in broad sense but in GNIIT that course is limited to a particular area. You can go for any of these but if you belive in short term goals then go for GNIIT.

no, GNIIT course is not exactly equivalent to B.E but it is considered very nearer to that.i will advice you not to go for GNIIT because the GNIIT students are facing so much problems. also you can't go for this just after completing class 10th as the minimum qualification required to join GNIIT is class 12th. for further details ,please visit the file i had attached. |

Hi!!!!
Definetely GNIIT is not equivalent to B.E. because B.E. is a degree but GNIIT is a diploma. And you are not eligible to do GNIIT after 10th because it is done after 10+2. so if you want to do GNIIT better to complete your 12th first. with best wishes!!!! |

NO ,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never , and Never!!!! IF U A GOOD CAREER opportunity DO B.E. , GNIIT is Nothing in front of B.E. so please Don't do GNIIT . Go FOR B.E. or B.Tech which have ""Govt. Recognized degree!!!! "" , while GNIIT hasn't !!!! If u go on programming like JAVA, J2ME, C#... etc so du from "NSIC", or NIIT special program CERTIFICATE(2-3 months "ONLY") but don't go for GNIIT!!! so do B.E. and make career good !!! |

Details regarding GNIIT GNIIT is just a course..it doesn't even provide you with a degree..they just teach job-oriented courses..that's it..and B.Tech is a far far better thing than that..doing B.Tech from a good college not only ensures a good job but also ensures a bright future with a good salary but here..nothing is certain..even you will be placed this 3-year course..that is also doubtful..so its all up to you if you still want to join it..generally..those people join GNIIT who don't get any seat or placement on merit basis.. but still if you want to go for this course ..then here are the details you might need.. Eligibility: Good Communication Skills in English 12th Pass. Preference will be given to recent Graduates (B.Sc./B.Com/B.A.). Willing to relocate anywhere Required Documents: NIIT requires the following attested documents to get admission in there GNIIT program. Proof of 12th Pass Proof of Date of Birth Three recent passport size photographs (attested) Indigenous Certificate Scheduled Tribe (Naga) Certificate GNIIT (Software Engineering) 36 MONTH 137000.00 GNIIT ( Systems Engineering and Networking ) 36 MONTH 42500.00 GNIIT(Business System & Information Management) 36 MONTH 117000.00 GNIIT ( Information Systems Management ) 36 MONTH 96500.00 ~Hope this helps.. ![]() With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

I did GNIIT almost 10 years back. Here are some facts..
1. GNIIT is not a recognized degree. 2. It initiates you with all up-to-date technologies but you will not find good faculties there. 3. It can get you placement if you have scored vey high and have a bachelor Science degree. Most of the time they try to put you in Call Center if you have average score. 4. You can use this degree in resume and do not expect any company to put you in par with any other degrees like BE or BSC or MSC. 5. It is a way to make yourself more educated about technologies because college courses are really running behind from today's industry's need. Over all it is a good course if it is done along with other government recognized degree. |
