The candidates who have completed M.Sc in Botany have a lot of opportunities in the public sector. These candidates can appear for various government exams like PSC, UPSC, SSC, etc. They are also eligible to appear for the PO exam conducted by various public sector banks. Some of the government organizations that provides opportunities to M.Sc in Botany candidates are Departments of Conservation and Land Management, Public Health Service, Forest Service, National Park Service, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services, Department of Agriculture, etc. These candidates can also works Lecturers or Assistant Professors in government colleges/universities after clearing the NET exam.

i ve done m.sc. botany with specialization in mycology(dessertation on fungal contamination in indoor hospital environment). Now i totally confused in which direction i should lead my career in research work or in teaching line as i ve already a b.ed. degree. I want to job as i think but not sured of what type. plz guide me if anyone can provide me a good and satisfactory suggestion.
