1.BHEL

2.GAIL

3.TATA MOTORS

4.Hindustan motors

5.RRB

6.L&T

7.power grid

etc..

You can go for any of these PSU's..

Ample opportunities are available for candidates completing diploma in mechanical engineering. You can find vacancies in public sector firms like ONGC, SAIL, NTPC, DRDO, etc. These firms conduct written test and interview for recruitment. You can also apply for tests conducted by UPSC, PSC, SSC, etc. You can find vacancies in Indian Railways as well. For this you have to clear the test and interview conducted by RRB. It will be a good option to complete you B.Tech through lateral entry and then apply for the jobs. This will increase your job prospects and you will receive better salaries too.
