For admission in aeronautical engineering. The required eligibility is that candidate must have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main paper.

So, you are eligible to pursue the B.Tech course after 12th in PCM stream. Entrance examination is conducted by various institutions for admission in the course.

If you are interested to become an aeronautical engineering, then you need to pursue your Higher Secondary course with non - medical science stream from a government recognised board. You need to appear in Engineering entrance examination like JEE, EAMCET etc; qualify the entrance examination and participate in counselling process to get admission in aeronautical engineering course.

PCM group in 11th will be more helpful to become an Aeronautical engineering in future.

You should choose Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects to be eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering.

You have to clear 12th with minimum 60% marks.

You have to appear in JEE Main entrance exam during 12th class to get admission in BTech course in Aeronautical Engineering.

If you could clear JEE Main than you can appear in JEE Advance also.

If you could score more than 90 percentile in JEE Advance than you can get admission top Institute like IITs and NITs.

As you are interested in getting into Aeronautical engineering i.e; technical education then you should surely go for the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects for higher secondary school degree course as the whole technical education will require the applications of Physics and Mathematics studied in higher secondary school degree course.

You should choose the science stream with PCM group (physics, chemistry and maths) in (10+2) to become an Aeronautical Engineer. After completion of your B.E./B. Tech (Aeronautical Engineering), You can also pursue higher studies in Aeronautical Engineering with specialization of your interest.
