RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer and the exam to recruit eligible candidates for this post is conducted by Public Service Commission.

The exam is conducted for the following posts:-

• Judicial Service
• Clerk
• Sub Assistant Engineer

Clerk: You should have 10+2 certificate or a degree from a recognized University.
Age: 18 to 37 years

Judicial Service: You should have an LLB degree from a recognized university.
Age: 23 to 34 years

Sub Assistant Engineer: You should have a four years engineering degree from a recognized University.
Age: 21 to 35 years.

Selection Process:-

• Written Test
• Interview

Written Test Pattern:-

• Optional Subject

RTO examination is generally conducted by Public Service commission of each state of India.

The pattern of exam and number of vacancies varies fro state to state.

Eligibility for RTO examination:

You should be citizen of India

Your age should be between 23-34 years.

Education qualification varies from post to post

12th standard for Clerical Post

For RTO Inspector, You should have passed graduation from a recognized university.

RTO stands for Regional Transport Officer. The eligibility criteria for entrance examination of these officers are:

1. Graduation from a recognized university. Without pursuing bachelor's degree, you can not apply for entrance exam of RTO.

2. The age limit for RTO is 18-35 years.

The entrance examination is conducted by different state governments by Public Service Commission of every state. You can apply for your own state after graduation.

After completion of 12th, you can apply for RTO clerk post.

Regional Transport Officer is the expanded form for RTO. There are three different posts in RTO for which recruitment is made. They are Clerk, Sub Assistant engineer and Judicial Service. Recruitment exam for different posts of RTO is conducted by the concerned State Public Service Commission .

Eligibility criteria for RTO :-

RTO Clerk :

Academic qualification : 12th class in any discipline from a recognized central or state board.

Age limit : 18 years to 37 years.

RTO Sub Assistant Engineer :

Academic qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical ).

Age limit : 23 years to 32 years.

RTO Judicial service :

Academic qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Law .

Age limit : 23 years to 34 years.

Selection Procedure :

Preliminary Examination.

Main Examination.

Interview.

After complete 12th what course i choose for rto inspector
