Hello, My name is Manoj kumar. I did Bachelor in Tourism studies and along with that I did hospitality management. Currently I am pursuing Master of tourism Management. I want to apply for job in government sector in tourism. Please guide me how to apply government sector in tourism. I am waiting your reply.

How to apply for government sector jobs in Tourism:

As you want job in Tourism Department you will be involved in the planning and promotion of tourism activities

In the Tourism Department there are some jobs:-

Reservation and Counter Staff

Sales and Marketing Staff

Tour Planners and Tour Guides

Required education:-

You must have done civil service or Administrative Services of state or Central government .

A degree in Travel and Tourism is required for getting jobs in government sector

Completed examination are held by the staff selection commission for jobs like information Assistant

Besides degree, you must also have knowledge of Indian History, Art and Architecture good fluency in English

The exam paper Will have a time period of two hours

The test will have questions from topics such as:-
