For this you have to be in age group of 21-30 yrs and u need to apply for Civil servie exam and then choose IPS cadre.

Intelligence Bureau is one of the toughest organizations as to enter in to. There are lots of procedures in selecting candidates with required qualities and also with a flawless background. Every year the Intelligence Bureau carries out its recruitment process which includes a written test, physical fitness test and few more intelligence and aptitude tests. Candidates who are interested to submit an application should submit an application as per the required format in the advertisement provided in the news papers or online websites.

First of all appear the IPS or CPF exam,get qualified.From there you can go for IB.
