Re: How to become a CID/CBI officer after 10th?
1. The full form of CBI and CID is Central Bureau of Investigation and Crime Investigation Department. You can opt for any stream of your choice for CBI and CID. Bachelor's degree is the minimum qualification required for these two.
2. You can pursue 10+2 either in science, arts or commerce. Then pursue bachelor's degree in any stream. The next step is to apply for SSC CGL for Sub Inspector posts in CID and CBI. You can apply for Civil Services exam for higher level officer posts in CBI. |

Re: How to become a CID/CBI officer after 10th?
You can choose any stream in Class 11th of your choice and after passing Class 12th take admission to good college, pursue graduation with good marks. After completing it you are eligible to take examinations of UPSC CSE (as IPS) and SSC CGL (as Sub-Inspector) which give you posts of CBI/CID Officer.
To prepare for SSC CGL you should have a good hold on Mathematics and English Language as these two subjects are fulcrum of SSC. You can read monthly G.K. Magazines for enhancing your knowledge for day to day events. To prepare for UPSC you should master on subjects like History, Geography, Political Science, Current Affairs. You can start by reading NCERT books of these subjects from Class 9th to 12th. Physical Standards : Height : 165cm Weight : Should not be less than 50kg and must have in proportion to the height Eye Vision : 6/6 and 6/9 with or without specs and free from colourblindness. Chest Expansion : 81 cm |

Re: How to become a CID/CBI officer after 10th?
There is neither a way to become CBI officer after completing 10th standard nor a course which will be helpful for you now. The only way to become a CBI officer is to pass SSC-CGL exam. Only graduate candidates are eligible for this exam.
So first of all complete your 12th standard and then after join a graduation course which is suitable to you. After all that prepare for SSC exam, pass the exam and fill CBI on your prior choice. |

Quote:
But first complete your class 10th with good marks and after that enrol in class 11th in whichever stream you want depending on your choice like science, commerce and arts. If you want to go for engineering courses like BE/BTECH, than you should enrol for science subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12th. For getting into CBI minimum educational qualifications is Graduation pass in any stream. Currently procedure is Written test (two stage- Prelims and Mains) followed by interview and physical fitness test. These tests are conducted by SSC. These tests are competitive tests held at All India level. So, complete your 10th and 12th and graduation and than you can apply for SSC exams. |
