You can become lecturer in your interested area of specialization. Private colleges, usually considers candidates with M.Tech degree for the position of lecturer. In government colleges B.Tech/M.Tech with NET qualification are considered for lecturer position. So go ahead with your interested stream in B.Tech and M.Tech. B.Tech holders can join as lecturer in polytechnics by qualifying state PSC exams.
