Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
Hello dear,
your asking about doctor, so i think u have definitely science field in your 12th std. (bio). For that you have to write aiims or neem entrance exam conducted all over india and every state has their own entrance exam previously but now i suppose they removed. So try to prepare well for those exams and score good. For mbbs you need a very good score otherwise you have to select bds (dental) or pharma . They are also having a good scope presently. Fee structure will be high and many colleges are there throughout india search in your state or near by colleges and try to get into that. All the best! |

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
Hello dude..... You have a very good decision to choose doctor, but you have to more and more hard work to become a doctor. To become a doctor you must had BIPC in 12th, if you have BIPC then you are available to do doctor. After 12th BIPC you have to do graduation in MBBS. for MBBS you have must passed in 12th with 60% of marks. MBBS is five years course... after MBBS you are a junior doctor but not specialist, to become specialist doctor you have to do post graduation, that is "M.S" after M.S your a perfect doctor. See one thing while doing MBBS and MS only you cant become a perfect doctor, you have to do more work hard and be concentrate in studies. Your career is good after becoming doctor. Wish you all the best. |

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
Dear Friend
As query is confusing first you have written how to become doctor after 10+2 and then you are asking for other options.I am explaining you about how to become doctor after 10+2. If you want to become a doctor after the 10+2,you must have taken the physics, chemistry and biology as main subjects in 10+2 along with english and securing not less than 60% in it from a recognized board. Because this is the minimum requirement for any medical entrance examinations. So after becoming eligible for the examinations ,there are certain entrance exams held which you need to give in order to become doctor: They are as below: 1.All India Institute of medical sciences entrance examinations. 2.Armed Force Medical colleges entrance exams 3.All India Premedical test 4.CPMT and some entrance exams conducted by private universities like VIT,Manipal etc. The minimum age required is 17 years for the examinations. Note: However there is now a common entrance test called UG NEET that stands for the National Eligibility entrance test by the CBSE for the admission to courses like MBBS and BDS and eligibility remains the same. After qualifying the entrance examinations ,you can select any courses depending upon your interest for example : >>IF you want to become surgeon, you have to go for MBBS. >>If you want to be ayurveda doctor, you must go for BAMS >>For homoepathy ,it is BHMS >>For veterinary ,it is BVHS. Now it depend upon you to select the entrance exams and clear it and go for the courses depending upon your aimbition. Hope the information helps you.if you have any other query leave your message here. all the best aashisranjan784 |

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
Other than doctor, you can look for professions like Pharmacist. Courses in dairy science are also useful for you. You can work as a Radiographer by pursuing UG/PG courses in radiography. BMLT holders can work as lab technician. Physiotherapy courses can also be selected.

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
After passing 12th with biology, physics, chemistry as your subjects with good score, MBBS is the best career option available for science stream student. This is a four and half year long course with additional mandatory one year of internship under the supervision of senior doctors. This course is considered to be challenging with its bulky syllabus and long academic session.
For choosing a career as MBBS in India, one needs to get the admission into a recognized medical college through the entrance exams conducted at different levels. There are National level, state level as well as college level entrance exams and the admission to this course is made on merit basis in these entrances. |

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
To become a Doctor you have to opt for Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2.
After passing 10+2 with above subject combinations with decent marks you can apply for various medical entrance examination. For getting admission into top medical colleges you have to get a very good rank in the entrance examination. You can opt for any of the following course to become a doctor: -MBBS -BAMS (Ayurvedic) -BHMS(Homeopathy) -BVSc(Veterinary) -BUMS(Unani) -BPT(Bachelor in Physiotherapy)- Alternative treatment method used almost in most of the top Hospitals. MBBS is the most popular course and most of the students opt for other courses only when they do not get admission into MBBS. So be prepared for the entrance examination because getting admission into a government college in very difficult if you don't get a top rank. In private colleges the fee is very high and if you are from a middle class family then it will be very difficult for you to pay the fee and you will have to take an education loan. The entrance exam will have objective type questions related to physic, chemistry and biology. The syllabus will be from 11th and 12th class. So revise whatever you have studied in the 10+2. Some of the top medical colleges in India are: -AIIMS , New Delhi -JIPMER , Pondicherry -BHU , Varanasi -KGMU , Lucknow -AFMC, Pune -Kasturba Medical College, Manipal -Christian Medical College, Ludhiana For more information visit http://www.cbseneet.nic.in |

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
You did not mention the stream that you have gone through in your 12th class which is very important in confirming your eligibility to become a Doctor.
here is the required eligibility criteria. You should have completed your 12th class with the following subjects Biology Physics Chemistry In addition, you should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in your 12th class. The admission will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam. Some of the popular Entrance Exams are AIIMS AIPMT etc. These are national wide Entrance Exams. In addition there is EAMCET exam which is a state wide Entrance Exam. You should have to secure a good rank in the Entrance Exam in order to get admission for MBBS course. Otherwise you will be given admission for other courses like BDS Veterinary Physiotherapy etc. If you did not secure a good rank in the Entrance Exam, you can also join pharmacy related courses like D-Pharmacy B-Pharmacy Try to opt for Medicine course if you are good at academics and if you are able to put your best efforts towards successful completion of course. You should have to spend your most of time in laboratories. Wish you all the best. |

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
Firstly, to become a doctor, the main eligibility is that you should have chosen Biology group in your 12th standard and scored more than 50% in every subject particularly Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Then to take up a Medical seat in a particular college or university, you should clear the entrance exams of that particular college or the university.

Re: How to become a doctor after passing 12th?
You have many options but they all depends on your subjects which you have in your higher secondary.
If you have completed your higher secondary with Science + Maths then you can do B.Tech for this you have to qualify IIT or AIEEE or any state engineering entrance exam. If you have completed your higher secondary with Science + Bio then you can do MBBS for this you have to qualify PMT exam. If you have completed your higher secondary with Arts then you can do BA . If you have completed your higher secondary with Commerce then you can do CA for this you have to qualify IPCC. |
