How to become an IPS officer after passing 10th exam? What should I do after passing 12th exam?
I have taked commerce stream after passing my 10th class exams ,now i want to be an Ips offices and want to know what should i do after passing 12th exams to be an Ips officer?

To become an IPS officer you have to apply and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year after Graduation.
The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. The candidate applying for IPS has to maintain a prescribed Physical Fitness. The Chest for General Male should be 165cm and that of Female should be 150cm which is For SC/ST Male should be 160cm and that of for Female should be 145cm. The chest of Male candidate should be 85cm and that of Female should be 79cm expandable to 5cm in both the cases. The selection is through three phases:- CSAT - Civil Service Aptitude Test- Preliminary Exam Civil Service Main Exam Personal Interview It is very good that you are taking so much of interest to become an IPS officer after passing 10th. So you should start your preparation accordingly after 12th along with your regular under Graduate studies which will be easy for you when you are appearing for the Civil Service Exam after Graduation. A candidate can apply for the post of IPS after the completion of graduation through civil service examination. After 10th or 12th standard you are not eligible for IPS officer, because the minimum educational qualification is graduation. IPS(Indian Police Service) exam is conducted by theUPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria: You should be complete graduation from a recognised university. Percentage is not required for this exam. You should be a citizen of india. Being a final year candidate also eligible for IPS exam. Age criteria: For general candidates 21 years to 30 years, For OBC candidates 21 years to 33 years, For SC/ST candidates 21 years to 35 years. No.of attempts: General category- 4 times, OBC category- 7times, SC/ST category- No limit. Selection procedure: Civil services preliminary exam, Civil services mains exam, Personal interview. sir...there is no option to do give exam to become an ips officer after 10 th,,you have to complete your 12th then your graduation,,,in any field...from my point off you if you decided to become an ips officer then you go for arts steam for 11 and 12 th..then you take degree from any institute...it is not nessescary to choose arts you choose commers , science,,,and for degree,,,engg, medical,etc....then after completing your graduation you start preparation for upsc exam.....

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for IPS exam graduation is required for this exam.
IPS stands for INDIAN POLICE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IPS EXAM: 1.Graduate students are eligible for this exam. 2.Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years. 3.3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates. 4.5 years for SC/ST candidates. 5.Candidate should be a citizen of india. YOU NEED GRADUATION TO APPLY FOR IPS Education Qualification Candidate applying for the civil service examination should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible to apply for the civil service examination. Age limit 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs . Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years exemption from the prescribed age limit The date of birth accepted by the Commission is that entered in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University, which extract must be certified by the proper authority of the University or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificate. Number of Attempts Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. NEVER MIND!!! HI FRIENDS To become an IPS(Indian Police Service) officer one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC once every year. After completing 12th standard you will have to apply for graduation. Here you will have the option of choosing any graduation course. After you have completed graduation, you will be eligible to become IPS officer.
To become Indian Police Service officer you will be required to clear Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. It is a annual entrance exam. Before you apply for the Civil Services Examination, give yourself a time period of 6 to 8 months to prepare for the entrance exam. By no mean it is a easy exam. Civil Services Examination is regarded as one of the toughest entrance exams not just in India but around the world. You will have to prepare for General studies in which NCERT books of Class 12th are ideal. Other than that you should watch a lot of news to prepare yourself for the current affairs section of the General studies papers. You will find various sample papers online. Its not a problem for you of choosing Commerce stream in your 12th class.
Here is the complete selection procedure to become IPS officer. CSAT Exam - Civil Services Aptitude Test Civil Services Main Exam Interview This civil services exam is being conducted to recruit the candidates into the following services Indian Administrative Service Indian Police Service Indian Revenue Service Indian Foreign Service etc. After getting through CSAT Exam, you have to write civil services main exam. For this exam, you have to choose one optional subject and the main exam will be given on that optional subject only. So, go through the list of optional subjects for Main Exam and choose the one which you are interested and where your strengths are being fully utilized. Carry out your preparation for this exam from the very beginning of your Graduation. One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this exam. Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation course are also eligible but they should be able to provide the proof of passing in Graduation when they appear for Interview. The required age for the candidates should be 21-30 years for OC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC category Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for SC or ST category. Most of the People dreamt to want to become a IAS,IPS... To want to become a IPS minimum qualification is graduation with any stream. IPS stands for Indian Police Services If you have passed your Graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for these exams.... There are no marks criteria.... So, you can directly apply for IPS. Final year’s students of Graduation degree are also eligible for this exams Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 years For SC/ST - 21 to 35 years...
