I am appearing for imu- cet exam this year and i am totally confiused that i can i ready for this exam.I dont have any idea for this exam that how question are been asked.So please guide me.

# IMU CET stands for Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test.

# Those who wants to make their career in shipping, should have to crack the IMU CET in order to get admission in maritime academies.

# Few points regarding IMU CET are:

* Total 180 questions which are divided into six sections of 30 questions each.
* The duration of examination is three hours.

# The questions asked in the examination are generally pertaining to following topics which are:
* Physics
* Chemistry
* Mathematics
* Aptitude Test
* General English
* Reasoning Ability

# Few tips regarding preparation of IMU CET are:

* First of all, go through NCERT Books and later other reference books.
* Everyday devote equal time to all sections of examination.
* Try to solve out samples papers as many as possible in order to familiar with trend and difficulty level of examination.
* For the preparation of General Knowledge, read newspaper daily. Go through monthly magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, Competition Success Review, Yojana etc.
* For the preparation of English language, read English newspaper daily. Also go though books like Arihant's Objective English, Pearson Guide to English etc.
