From this academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting Common Written Exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers for 19 public secotr banks.
The selection procedure for these positions is by -Written Exam -Interview The written test consists of questions from the following categories. -Reasoning -Quantitative Aptitude -General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry -Computer Knowledge -General English In addition, there is one descriptive test also being conducted. One should have to secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam in order to get through the written test. One should have to secure high marks in the written exam to be called for Interview. Again in General Awarness, there might be questions from -National affairs -International affairs -Bilateral affairs -Sports -Persons in News -Books and Authors etc. in additon to the banking knowledge. The result of the IBPS PO Exam was announced and above 1 lakh candidates have got through the exam. If you want to attend for this exam, have good preparation to this exam and you can appear for upcoming IBPS PO Exam which is going to be conducted in the next academic year. The IBPS PO'S exam is conducted once in year and it is recruitment for 19 public sector banks.The IBPS scorecard valid for 1 year.
The question asked from the topics are 1.Aptitude and reasoning questions. 2.General awareness and english questions. 3.General knowledge. 4.Descriptive questions. Eligibility Criteria: 1.Graduation is required for IBPS entrance exam. 2.Minimum 60% aggregate is required. 3.The age limit is 21-28 years. Well sorry to say but the last date to apply for the IBPS exam is already over which means that you have to wait till next notification .The IBPS exam conducts common written exam(CWE) for the 19 public sector banks .Under these 19 banks the SBI and its associates bank do not take part .Following are the banks which takes part in this examination ::
Eligibility :: Eligibility for the examination :: Your age should be minimum 20 years and not more then 30 years.There is some relaxation given to reserved caste students in upper age limit .For SC/ST its a 5 years and for OBC its a 3 years . You must have a degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Pattern of the examination ::It consist of two papers . I have attached the previous year question paper of the CWE examination i hope it will help you to prepare for the exam. |
