No, you're not eligible to apply for Mechanical Engineering course after completing BA course. Only Science stream candidates who complete B.Tech or B.E in relevant specialization are eligible to apply for Mechanical Engineering course. So, being a Arts stream candidates you're not eligible for Mechanical Engineering course. But, you have lot of career option other then this course. Only completing BA course you may apply for Higher degree course like, MA (Master of Arts ) , MBA (Master of Business Administration) , M.Com (Master of Commerce) etc.. You have to qualified in MAT/CAT/GMAT in order to get admission for MBA course.
