how i can become doctor after 12 class?

Medical is one of the most sought out profession in India. Along with Engineering, MBBS is preferred profession for Indian students. To become doctor you will have to take the science stream for Classs 12th. To get admission in a MBBS college you will first have to appear in one of the several medical entrance exams.

This is the most difficult part because there are only couple of thousand medical seats in India for which more than 1.6 million people apply. Therefore getting admission in the MBBS college is not as easy as it may seems. Thousands of people fail to crack the entrance exam. It would require months of preparation and professional coaching to crack any of the medical entrance exams in India.

Here are some of the entrance exam where you can appear:

CBSE PMT

One of the most popular entrance exam for MBBS is CBSE PMT. Also known as the AIPMT, this exam is to fill 15 percent of government quota seats in MBBS in India. There are two parts of the CBSE PMT exam. First one is Preliminary exam which is followed by the Main examination.

AFMC Entrance Exam

AFMC means Armed Forces Medical College. This entrance exam is for 130 medical seats in Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. Thousands of candidates appear for the 130 available seats every year. There is one condition for candidates who wish to complete MBBS from AFMC. They will have to work as Commissioned Officers in the Indian Army for at least 7 years. This is the part of the agreement which can't be violated later.


AIIMS Entrance Exam

Another prestigious exam in India is AIIMS entrance exam which also offer very few seats but despite that thousands of candidates appear in the examination.


DUMET

Delhi University Pre-Medical Test also known as DUMET is the medical entrance exam for the MBBS aspirants. This exam would give you admission in medical college affiliated to the DU.


JIPMER Entrance Exam

Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research also offer 75 MBBS seats every year. To get admission candidates are required to appear in the JIPMER entrance exam. The eligibility for exam is at least 50 percent marks in English and same percentage for Physics, chemistry and biology combined.


Apart from these exams, you can appear for the several state based medical exams for admission in the MBBS college.

See for being a doctor there are some procedures that you need to carry out after class 12 and there are some procedures that you need to carry along your 12th standard preparation.
1) In your 12 standard itself you must have Biology in your subject combination, so that you can be eligible to apply in the entrance test for Medical.
2) After your 12th exams the joint entrance examinations for medical in your state itself or you can sit for the all India basis medical examination conducted by AIIMS.
3) When and if this examination is cleared by you you will get certain rank or score that will make you eligible for the counseling process of medical colleges.
4) In the counseling process you will be given certain choices as to which colleges you may join with this rank. If your rank is good, you get to join better colleges.

PMT ELIGIBILITY:You have passed the higher secondary examination from a reputed institute are eligible for this examination. Also it is compulsory that they must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology during their higher secondary education.

Age Qualification for All India Pre Medical Test

You wish to take part in this exam should satisfy some age criterion. It is compulsory that they must have attained 17 years of age. Also the upper age limit is 25 years. The reserved categories are given 5 years relaxation. These include SC/ ST and OBC candidates.

Hello i want to know the procedure to become a doctor after 12th like which course is best any its duration and also information regarding the entrance exams please hhelp me i have no knowledge about doctor i basically want to know how many years will it taae to be a good doctor and which one!

I m say only this much...that there many medical colleges . some r gov and some r private as we know in every entrance examination thousands of candidate apply only few candidate r selected in government colleges but rest of the candidate have no chance they have to take admission in private colleges where there they have to pay lots of money which are not afford able to middle class person ....his dream become destroy .......so plz do anything about the fees of private colleges make a limited fees sedule for every colleges which are afford able to the people...... thanks

First of all you should complete 12th in. Biology after 12th you write a test conducting by CET /NEET in medical category after written the test the seat is alloted in the collage depending upon your ranking in CET/NEET

AFTER CLEARING THE PMT OR AFMC OR AIIMS TEST WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE OF BECOMING A DOCTOR
