If you want to join Government banks then there are Bank PO examination conducted by IBPS and SBI for various banks in India.

The selection is based on merit and you have to be really well prepared then only you can become a bank employee in government banks
.

The qualification for bank PO job is Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. You have Engineering degree so you are surely eligible to apply for it.

Age for Bank PO job is 21 to 30 years fro General category. Age relaxation is available for reserved category candidates.

SC/ST : 5 years

OBC : 3 years

PWD : 10 years relaxation

First of all you have to be prepared for the written examination which will have objective type questions. You have to prepare by concentrating on following topics.

-General Awareness

-Reasoning Aptitude

-Quantitative Aptitude

-Computers Aptitude

-English Language Skills

You have to be good in all sections then only you can be successful in bank PO exam. So give emphasis on every section because you have to pass in each and every section.

There will be negative marking so you have to attempt good accuracy otherwise you will lose marks.

Second stage will be interview which will also carry weightage in final selection. So be prepared for the interview.

You can join coaching classes if you are not sure of your self studies.

There are specialist officer examination also conducted by IBPS and SBI for Engineering Graduates.

Hence if you want a job as an Engineer in banks then you can apply for specialist officer exam.
