How can I become an IAS officer?
Hello sir/mam..myself aishwarya amin..recently i'm done with my 11th exam with commerce stream computer as my main subject...in karnataka..which subject should i opt for in ma graduation level and what should i do further to achieve my aim?

IAS Exam i.e. Indian Administrative Exam
For IAS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after 11th complete 12th,then complete Graduation from a recognized university. Minimum qualification required to appear for IAS exams is Graduation from a recognized university. IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.It is under Civil Service Exam conducted once in a Year by UPSC.To become an IAS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university Age limit:21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Age Limit : MINIMUM: 21 years General Category:30 years. Other Backward Classes (OBC):33 years. Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes:35 years. Educational Qualification >The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recongnized university >Final year degree students are crack this exam Number of attempts permitted: General Category: 4 OBC: 7 Physically Handicapped: 7 SC & ST: No limit ALL THE BEST |

Educational Qualifications for IAS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Age Limit: General - 21 to 30 yrs OBC - 21 to 33 yrs SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs Number of Attempts: Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs.
