there are a lot many ways to enter into the elite cadre of the reputed defence forces and for a gradute they are as follows :::
the eligiblity is ::
a graduate with minimum 65% and above in all its semisters can go for UES entry i.e university entry scheme..
a graduate with same eligibility as above can also go for TGE entry i.e technical graduate entry ..
a graduate with average score in i.e 50% or above can apply for CDS entry or OTA entry i.e for short service ....

1)in 3rd year engg you can apply for army's pre-university scheme
2)apply in CDS after graduation
3)apply in short service commission for army,navy and air-force
4)apply for technical entry scheme for permanent commission
5)apply for pilots.asst commandents in coast guard
6)apply in INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICE for asst excecutive engineer in GREF/BRO

yes you can write for armed forces,
for this you have to write for cds examination,

u can write the nda exam....or the exam conducted by the iaf

you should go through C D S ,,
and technical grade examination which is conducted by

if you want to go in the armed forces like airforce ,army
then after b.teck you have to give the exam of cds conducted by the upsc.
after qualifying in the exams .
you can join airforce/army/navy as an officer.

after completing your b.tech.
you need to fill up the form of CDS .
then only you can go into any of the above mentioned dicipline.

for joining indian army you have to sit for CDS(combined defence service) or NDA exam .then you must have at least 55% in your board exam.after that they will check your fitness.if pass that then you have to go for training.
this type of procedure is followed.

hey friend there are two ways to join defense :-

first is : you have to appear for the CDS exam after completing your graduation with 60% in aggregate........and dont forget to specify the post for which you want to join..........

second is : you can contact the defense medical centers and go for 2 years training and after that you can join the same hospital as an doctor.......

so choose the one which you feel is better for you..........

For you there is a technical entry in the Army. You will not play the role of a soldier rather you would be involved in technical services like operating and maintenance of equipments etc. After the training the you will become lieutenants (Lt)

Eligibility: The Indian citizens, a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan origin but Indian domicile, a person of Indian origin can apply. The age of candidates must be between 20 and 27 years.

Education required: You must have any one of the following – a B.E/B.Tech in civil/mechanical/electronics/IT/Electrical/Computer Science/Electronics and communication/Industrial/Architecture/Construction/Public Health
I think you fulfil the educational requirement.
If you are in your final year can also apply.

No. of posts: There are 49 posts for men course which are distributed according to the department of their education.

Pay scale: You will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 with a grade pay of Rs5400.

Selection procedure: The short listed candidates will be called for SSB interviews at any of the three places namely Bhopal, Allahabad and Bangalore.

How to apply: The candidates must apply in the prescribed application format available on the website. The complete applications with an attested photo pasted on it along with the various proofs like education, caste, age, bonafide from the institute if in the final year of qualification etc must be sent to Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, West Block – II, R.K.Puram, New Delhi 110066. The envelops must be super scribed in red ink with 34 SSC (TECH) Men .

There are two ways to get into army and Airforce and Navy after getting degree.

First is NDA exam i.e. you have to clear the exam to get your SSb call in which you can opt for Army,Air force,Navy according to your interest.

Second is the form which you have to fill after getting your degree.
There is different forms for all of these i.e. for army,air force, navy.

So choose according to your interest.

You can apply for NDA exam to join army, navy or air force which is conducted twice in a year.

for making career in these fields
u must get minimum 65 % marks in your 12th exam
i suggest u to focus on one of the career of the above

To get into defence lines you need to clear CDS exam. It exam consists of following parts:
1.English,
2.GK,
3.Elementary Mathematics( Arithematic, unitary method,Elementary Number Theory, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Mensuration)

if you are now a technocrat,so you can fill a lot of applications,from defence to it sector,from factories to machienry,you are eligible to work for many fields.
mechanical jobs are there under ues scheme of forces.

2.TES AFTER 12
3.CDS AFTER GRADUATIOIN

5.NCC (C) CERTIFICATE DIRECT ENTRY

indian army is waiting for such type of interested candidate.To join army you can apply for NDA exam after your +2.
o qualify in NDA you should read the math,Physics and chemistry of+ 2 in full depth.You should also read the book of general knowledge(GK) like GK by Upkar publication. For the preparation of current affair, you should read daily news.

you can join air force in a two category

1.Air man

2.Flying Leutinent


Air man : To join air force as a Air man, you have to appear in the exam of


two categories

either technical entry scheme or non technical entry scheme.

The eligibilty for both is +2 with PCM.


Flying Leutinent : To become a Flying Leutinent in indian Air force,

youhave to appear in the exam of NDA,after qualifying this exam,

you will be call for AFSB, after clearing this you will become


flying leutinent.


After doing Btech

Indian navy.There are three ways,through which you can join indian air force or indian navy. Those ways are as follows :

UES(university entry scheme) : through this scheme ,you have to face direct interview and after getting success you will be call for AFSB. you can appear for this in your 3rd year and 4th year.
2.EKT(engineering knowledge test): Through this scheme you have to give a written test ,after completing this stage you will be call for SSB.
3. SSC(short service commission) : In this scheme,also you have to appear
for written test.After clearing written test you will be called for AFSB.Actually in this scheme, you will be commissioned for 15 years in the force.


NOTE : Friend,for the preparation of written test ,you should read the mechanics,math,physics that you have read in 1st year.Career in Indian airforce or Indian navy is full of adventure and life.There you will get
respect in the society as well as money and security of yourself and your belongings.

there are so many way to enter into indian army, indian navy and indian airforce after completion of mechanical engineering.


for this you have to first appear in written examination for indian navy. after clearing the examination you have to go for Interview. if you can clear the interview then you will be called for medical test. after medical test you will be selected for indian navy. first you should go for training before joining into nave force.

you must frequently visit employment news where the advertisements for indian ,navy,army forces have been printed and they will be giving a link to visit and you can enter the form in online or download the form and then send the form this is one way

the other way is to see the upsc exam list their they will be enlisting the details and you can write nda and cds exam .you can be any stream .prepare for those exams in your stream

It good to know that you are B.tech but again this you want to join armed forces.For this age also matter & the exam I am telling you is NDA & CDS are the main exam to enter in forces. Criteria & age limitation is different to all the exams. But If will is there then certainly way is open for you so keep up a spirit like this you will get your way.OK

IMA (Indian military academy) - Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years Are Eligible

For Naval Academy - Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years Are Eligible

For Air Force Academy- Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 Year Are Eligible

For Officers Training Academy- Male candidates Married or Unmarried between 19-25 years Are Eligible.
