Hai,
A 10th class completed candidate can not be eligible for Indian Army. But after completion of 12th standard you are eligible for Indian army. For this you have to appear NDA(National Defence Academy) exam. This exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in one year. NDA has three wings:-a Indian navy, Indian army, Indian airforce. Eligibility details:- The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent educational qualification from a recognised university or board. Percentage is not important to appear this exam. Applicant must be a citizen of India. Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible. Candidate should be physically fit. The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years. No upper age relaxation for a reservation category candidates. Selection process:- Written exam, SSB interview, Medical test. Physical standards:- Visual standards:- For more details visit www.upsc.gov.in All the best. |

After 10th you will not be eligible for Indian Army in higher post but after 12th you can join Indian Army through NDA.
NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical and Mental health. The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with physical fitness and Medical test. For more information you may log on to http://www.upsc.gov.in |
