How can i join army after 10class at a higher post?...please give me the details

Hai,

A 10th class completed candidate can not be eligible for Indian Army. But after completion of 12th standard you are eligible for Indian army. For this you have to appear NDA(National Defence Academy) exam. This exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in one year.

NDA has three wings:-a

Indian navy,

Indian army,

Indian airforce.


Eligibility details:-

The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent educational qualification from a recognised university or board.

Percentage is not important to appear this exam.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible.

Candidate should be physically fit.

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years.

No upper age relaxation for a reservation category candidates.

Selection process:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.

To join Indian Army at the officer level you have to appear in the NDA exams.

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC two times a year


Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exams:


Education:
Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.
Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream

Age-
Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams

Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014

Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams

Male candidates are only allowed to apply for the NDA exams
