l am gaurav now i am 18 years old and bsc student. I have a dream Since childhood to join commando but my hight is only 5.4, so how can i join para commando? plz sir tell me

Yes, you can join Commando with the height of 5.4 feet,i.e., 163 cm.

There is not any direct recruitment for commandos.They are selected from Indian Defense Forces and Para Military Forces.So,anyone who wishes to join as commandos has to first get selected into the Indian Defense Forces or Para Military Forces.

One can join Indian defense forces through NDA / CDS /SSC / UES exams.

Eligibility criteria for commandos :-

-The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

-The candidate must have passed 10th or any equivalent examination from a recognized board of examination.

-The candidate age must be in between 18 years to 23 years.

Selection procedure involves of Aptitude test followed by Interview and pre-joining fitness test.

Physical requirements for commandos :

Height : minimum 157 cm

Weight : minimum 60 kg

Chest : minimum 80 cm (with expansion of 5 cm)

Eyesight : 6/6 with no defects

So if you wanted to be a Commando you have to first of all join Indian Army as a a Soldier or as a Officer. Indian Army issues notification time-to-time for recruitment of Commandos. Individuals working in Army can apply and they have to undergo 6 months training in the Special Forces regiments.

Best things for you that you are eligible for Para Cammando. As Your height is greater then Minimum of 157 cm, which is required.
So, you are eligible for Para Cammando go for it.
