UPSC conduct Civil Services Exam every year for the post of IAS. For Civil Services exam you need graduation in an stream with any percentage from recognized college or university.

You are in B.Com final year student so you are eligible for IAS exam .

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

The IAS selection process is consist in three way -1)Preliminary exam(This Exam is based on Objective type Question Paper) , 2)Main exam (This Exam is subjective type) and 3)Inter View.

Exam schedule for IAS Exam:-

Civil Services Examination 2014 notification = Saturday, 17 May 2014
Last date for receipt of applications = Monday, 16 June 2014
Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2014 = Sunday, 24 August 2014
Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2014 = 14 December 2014
