Sir, I have completed my Intermediate with BiPC subject combination and scored 70%. I would like to join in Indian Army. Can I join in Indian Army? What are the methods to join? What should I do now?

To be an army office, there are 2 ways.
1-through NDA
2-through Technical Entry Scheme
For 1: the age should be between 16.5-19.5.
They have NDA written Exam and Service Selection Board interview and both have to be cleared. Exam application can be done online. Written exam is MCQ based.check for the syllabus and prepare for the exam. On clearing written test, there comes an interview which have many physical and psychological tests. After qualifying exams, they are sent for medical. At academy you can study your interested bachelors degrees.
2: there is technical entry scheme which is similar to that of NDA

There's two way to get into Indian Army after 12th. First option is to clear NDA examination. To be eligible for NDA examination, one must complete class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Second option is to get into Indian Army is through Technical Entry Scheme (TES). One must complete class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and bust obtain more than 85% marks in the subjects individually.

As you have completed 12th with BiPC, you are not eligible to join Indian Army now.

Yes, you can join Indian Army even if your subject combination of 12th standard is Biology, Physics and Chemistry (i.e. BiPC).

You can join Indian Army through NDA exam that is conducted twice in a year by UPSC.

To apply for NDA exam, you will have to visit UPSC Online portal whenever the online application releases for NDA.

For completely filling the application form, you need to complete Part-I and Part-II of registration.

Part-I will be of filling personal details regarding name, dob, address, etc. while Part-II will be of fee payment and center choosing.

Note that you must complete Part-II for successful application of NDA. You can pay the fee from Debit card also as per your convenience.

Currently, you can start preparation of NDA exam or join coaching institute for proper and systematic preparation of this exam.

You can join Indian Army as an officer after qualifying in NDA examination. For recruitment as Clerk you can appear in the examination conducted by Indian Army.

The eligibility to appear in the NDA examination is that :-

Candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th board examination.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination.

So, you can appear and qualify in all the stages of the examination for the final selection.
